Absolutelly brilliant, clean, comfortable, near Bethlehem city centre (15 min. walk, if you know the way), very friendly and helpfull staff. Near the Guest House, there is a local food store. Breakfast is very tasty, fresh and local.
Beautiful place, very quiet, nice people...
if you don t have a car, you have to book a taxi from 15 to 35 shekels, each time you want to go somewhere>
- Friendly people. - Comfortable bed with decent facilities, - Great veranda view over Bethlehem. - Reasonable price. - Good breakfast (included) - Free Wi-fi. I would go back there.
- A little out of the way small town 5-10 min drive (not walk) outside Bethlehem, so you need a car. - Can be hard to find, as there is no street name that the GPS would recognize.
The owners are very cordial and nice people. Thanks for the hospitality
Big window with excelent view. Nice clean rooms.
Wi-fi was disconnecting every minute. Kitchen without cooker.
I highly recommend the place!
Very nice and hospitable family, great breakfast like at home.
staff very friendly and informative
the location is optimal for travelers with private car
Ilike the guest house ,location, the oners are very kibd and helfull, we felt as if it is our home.
wifi, breakfast, clean, room, terrace
Needs an extra transport cause its not in Bethlehem. Its another village and you cant walk there - its too far. You've got to take a taxi each time you go out. Secondly, there's no life in this place, noone to talk to, really. Its good when you travel and don't want to have any social experience.
1. Run by a family, Excellent ambience 2. Very very helpful and friendly staff, take their time and explain questions in detail (which is essential in the westbank since orientation is not trivial). 3. Excellent breakfast 4. great view on the veranda 5. calm environment
If you plan to be based here to go to jerusalem not having a car, this might take take time to get there, since the guesthouse is not directly in betlehem. However, taxis are relatively inexpensive.
Great host. Very friendly and kind. Nice place in Beit Sahour (very closer Bethlehem). Traditional breakfast with olives from the courtyard. Quite place. Good to sleep. Good value for money.
Hot water did not work at night, but I asked about that and half hour I took my shower. They need give better instructions to arrive at the place. We had problems with the taxi driver because that. We spent almost one hour to find the place.
Quite, great view, breakfest overlooking the olivetrees, very helpfull ovners
Difficult for the taxi to find
Clean room, nice breakfast, good view from the house, hot shower with good water pressure, free tea and coffee, nice and new facilities.... Good to stay!
Bethlehem was a great experience, people were very friendly (especially the staff at St Elias). It's a small family guesthouse, so don't expect anything too formal, but such a place would have cost three times as much in Jerusalem. The homecooked breakfast was great
This isn't so much of a complaint, but a tip to future travelers: from the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, you can either walk (40 mins, hilly) or take a cab (around 15 nis) to the hotel. Either way, mark the location on your device, and use the gps. You'll be able to navigate yourself within 50 meters of the hotel, and afterwards you can ask the neighbors (the street names are not up in google maps, and the hotel doesn't have any sign; it looks like any other house)
Everything was perfect there. Fredly and home-like. Highly recomend this hotel.
Beautiful view of the area and very quiet. Great breakfast and wonderful owners who tried to look after our needs.
Location is difficult to find and more frustrating with the language barriers. Be sure to have the owner book your taxis And then arrange with driver for pickup place and time for return to guest house. Couldn't find bus service and walking seemed impossible due to no street markings. Lack of hot water was an issue as was heat although we were given an electric heater when complained
The guesthouse was set in the peaceful hills of Beit Sahour.... great views, great breakfast.... easy walking distance of (although down and up inclines) the township and from there just 4NIS to catch local bus to Bethlehem proper. Quiet and restful. Wonderful owner. Thank you
Very good value. Basic breakfast but adequate. Excellent views and quiet.
Difficult to find.
