Awesome views and great character and charm. Easy to access and park especially considering that it is located within a walled city. Mattress springs got in the way of a good night sleep. |

The rooms were relatively large, the location was great, and the people were very friendly. The town was lovely. The food at the restaurant was not good. The a/c was marginal. |

Beautiful location, splendid views over the surrounding plains and hills. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Nice and intimate hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms, good value for money. Parking on the square just beside the hotel is an advantage. Poor soundproofing. All the noise from the corridor or the kitchen downstairs could be heard in the room. Luckily, everything was quiet during the night. |

Wonderful location in a delightfully small town. Immediately proximal to delightful hiking trails in the Buccaco Forest. Location makes for an easy bus ride into Coimbra. The Hotel itself is wonderfully restored and beautifully furnished throughout. Hotel staff were very helpful. Breakfast was quite adequate. The swimming pool was very nice. Would definately recommend to others, and will book again on future visits to Portugal. |

The location of the village is wonderful: 360 degree view from the Castle which is 5 min far away from the hotel. The view from the hotel room was also magnificent. The room was clean and cosy. The air heater was almost noiseless, so we could leave it on overnights. Free wireless internet with pretty good speed was a pleasant surprise. |

The situation and landsacape of the place was fantastic. The panorama from the hill and village itseself was remarkable. The hotel was clean and homelike, only some travelles in february. Good place to take easy and rest before / after bigger cities. The view from inside of the room was poor, but is was even better to go out. No minibar or tv-screen. Everything was fine, but after dinner in almost-empty hotel restaurant one of our group get ill with her stomach. We think it was the fish from waiters list. |

personel was very helpful, the hotel is in a very nice ancient town. Free wifi, parking near hotel and close to town entrance once activated (with card) the electricity system makes a loud humming noise, but no lights needed while asleep. |
