Nice hotel - decent room and great location right on the beach. My room had a good-sized veranda with a beach view. Stayed offseason (late September) so room rate was low. They don't offer wi-fi. No coffeemaker.

The staff at Mar Bravo was exceptional... helping us make arrangements to park our car(for free), suggesting things to see in the area, offering us the use of the hotel's computerr (for free), and even offering us change for the funnicular (for free). The location was perfect as well, we had a view of the ocean and the square. Even though we were on the square the room was fairly quiet. The bathroom was quite tiny but that was ok. Also, we stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast buffet never varied, but this was ok too.

The hotel had been recently refurbished and very, very clean. Staff were very nice and helpful. It is right on the beach and we could hear the ocean. Parking was free, located at 5-minute walk distance in a parking building. The hotel is on the main Square, where the restaurants and bars are. So it was noisy till late at night.

Liked the location, right across from the beach Hotel advertised valet parking but did not offer it. Had to drive 8 blocks to another hotel parking garage and then walk back. Hotel was extremely hard to find because of poor signage. Receptionist was not very friendly. Has a nice restaurant, good food and a very nice view. That made up for the other negatives.

It was a nice and comfortable room with private balcony. Close to the beach. Although the hotel was nice, Nazaré itself is a touristy, overcrowded spot. Its authentic character is completely spoiled by tourism.

The view from our room was great. We booked a "front sea view" room. From the balcony we enjoyed nice beach view as well as sunset. Hotel staff was very kind and offered/brought us breakfast in our room because we had to leave earlier than their breakfast time. Expensive. Small room. No free internet connection. No shower curtain therefore after shower, complete bathroom gets wet.

Of course the location, right on the beach is spectacular. The breakfast was good but the coffee was instant. Our room was small, but adequate. This is a perfect hotel for those who want to enjoy the beach. The upstairs lounge is really nice. The restaurant is suppose to be outstanding, but we did not try it as it was really expensive even with our 10% discount. There are a lot of other great hotels in the same block and a few interesting ones off of the main square.

Location - This hotel was 10 meters from the beach. Room - Although very simple the rooms was very clean and proper. Noise - Although the hotel was rebuilt not too long ago, you can hear everything that happens inside the hotel (machines, other rooms, elevator, etc) as the walls are very thin. Breakfast - Very poor taking in consideration the price paid for each room /130euros per night). Pets - Pets are allowed and the room next to mine had 1 which use to make noise almost every night. Parking - at least 400 to 500 meters away in another hotel. Cost/Quality - The quality of this hotel does not match the price charged.

The hotel staff, facilities and cleanliness were all good. However, I feel that we paid for location, location, location. Our room was very small and we were one of the fortune ones having a corner room with a small balcony facing the ocean and another the main street. We also didn't have a double bed as requested, but twin beds. The breakfast was adequate .. some days there was fresh, sliced fruit and other days just apples and oranges. There was not a large selection of food for breakfast. The restaurant was quite expensive.

-Location, Nazare was quite nice place - Terrible smell in the room, flash in the toilet (room 305) did not work (we complained 2 times and it was not corrected during our 3 days stay!) Maybe other rooms (more expensive ones with balcnies) were better, but ours was quite a bed experience. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Our room overlooking the beach was superb. Sitting with a little picnic on our private balcony and people watching was a wonderful way to spend a few relaxing hours. The village is charming with many traditions still apparently part of everyday life here. The staff were unfailingly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were quick to offer things like cutlery and plates so we could enjoy our picnic. They organised an early breakfast for us because we had an early bus to catch. Delightful all round.
