Hotel Mar Bravo  

Location, view, location

Need to be prepared if you are driving. All rooms face a plaza that can be very noisy at night, particularly the lower floors.

A lovely hotel right on the water and many rooms have excellent views. The staff is friendly and helpful!

Great hotel. Just be aware that you have to walk about 5 minutes to the secure parking lot which is under another hotel. We also enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant.

They need to fix the door on our room (105) because we had to slam it in order to close it.

Too cold in room in January

The staff at Mar Bravo was exceptional... helping us make arrangements to park our car(for free), suggesting things to see in the area, offering us the use of the hotel's computerr (for free), and even offering us change for the funnicular (for free). The location was perfect as well, we had a view of the ocean and the square. Even though we were on the square the room was fairly quiet.

The bathroom was quite tiny but that was ok. Also, we stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast buffet never varied, but this was ok too.

Great location right on the beach, can´t get a better view than that. Also lots of restaurants only a minute away.

The beach was fantastic. The local architecture and food was great.

The room was a little small...difficult to move around.

I was very pleased with our stay at Hotel Mar Bravo. I highly recommend it.

Location - This hotel was 10 meters from the beach. Room - Although very simple the rooms was very clean and proper.

Noise - Although the hotel was rebuilt not too long ago, you can hear everything that happens inside the hotel (machines, other rooms, elevator, etc) as the walls are very thin. Breakfast - Very poor taking in consideration the price paid for each room /130euros per night). Pets - Pets are allowed and the room next to mine had 1 which use to make noise almost every night. Parking - at least 400 to 500 meters away in another hotel. Cost/Quality - The quality of this hotel does not match the price charged.

Nazare was our first stop (3 nights) in a two week trip to Portugal. The town and area have lot's to offer and the Hotel Mar Bravo a perfect location to enjoy beach.

Our room overlooking the beach was superb. Sitting with a little picnic on our private balcony and people watching was a wonderful way to spend a few relaxing hours. The village is charming with many traditions still apparently part of everyday life here.The staff were unfailingly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were quick to offer things like cutlery and plates so we could enjoy our picnic. They organised an early breakfast for us because we had an early bus to catch. Delightful all round.

The staff were so very helpful - especially Sabrina. The location was excellent - right on the town square - close to restaurants and the beach.

Because of the central location, it was a bit noisy with the windows open.

Shower sometimes takes a little while to get hot water. Once after midnight it took several minutes...
