Good price and just a short stroll over to Guimaraes historical core and up to the castle and palace. Wifi signal was good and staff were friendly and helpful. For the budget traveler, definitely a decent choice.

Definitely a bit ragged, feeling more like an old dorm room than a hotel. Very hard to find, as the sign on the street is not where the entrance is--you have to go around to the side of the shopping area, go inside, and then up to the third floor. They do have onsite parking, but it is tricky to get to and involves descending what I am pretty sure is the steepest garage ramp I've ever gone down or up. I wouldn't try it in a large car.

Once I found the place it was a very good location.

The booking could have included detailed instructions on how to get to the hotel as itºs in a very unusual location on top of a shopping centre with one of the lifts not opening onto the hotel floor.

Its location to the historic center is great, albeit the hotel is above a shopping centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the car park was very useful.

Don't expect any views from the hotel.
