Superb views across the houses, to the castle and sea. Stayed in corner room with balcony on third floor. Free public parking just before the hotel, though finding the hotel is a bit of a challenge! Good location for 28 tram and short walk to Saturday morning flea market. Noise of chairs and tables being moved in bar/restaurant directly above room. Not good if you want an early night. |

The view, the very nice staff, the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast is nothing special and the room are a bit small, but I would still recommend it! |

The view is spectacular, and provides good value for the money. Capable staff, and well kept rooms made our stay enjoyable. Guests should be aware that the hotel is about five minutes walk uphill from the nearest public transport, although taxi service is readily available. |

We enjoyed our view of the city from our room window. The breakfastroom was a wonderful view of the river and castle and city. The staff was very helpful with making our tour reservations. The bathrooms were not like an American .hotel in size, but we were not in the states, and it was a small hotel, of which I loved. |

views are spectacular and the location, close to tramline 28, is excellent for exploring the city sights. Local restaurants also very good value if you can handle a phasebook. no safe deposit box |

- The view from the hotel is great. The best in the city! The staff were very helpful and good. - Quite area on the top of the hill. - The hotel doesn't lend you iron, instead they offer you that service very quickly for a very low price. - All hotel furnetures have seen their best days (clean though). - No internet (?) only one PC in the Lobby. - Difficult to get to the hotel by public transport. - Breakfast does not include anything hot, no eggs or other standard food varaity. |

Obviously, the views... the barman, who was knowledgeable and informative... the unsalted butter and super-fresh bread at breakfast... my room, unlike the experience of the guest from Aberdeen, was clean and never smelt! Walking up the hill was a drag... but then that's also the attraction of it, and anyone who books it not realising that it's at the top of a hill hasn't read its description. |

We liked this hotel a lot. The view of the castle from our room and the breakfast room was superb. The staff were extremely friendly, eager to help up go to the best places. They suggested a nice fado place; they got us taxis, explained where we wanted to go, and got us cheap fares. The room was large and comfortable. We stayed in Lisbon at the beginning and end of our trip. This hotel was at the beginning and I found that, because it's a little our-of-the-way, we had a hard time figuring out the public transportation and had to do a lot of walking. Our second hotel was off Av. Liberdade and gave us a better feel for how to get around. |

The amazing views and the friendly service. The uncomfortable pillows and the fact that we were only allowed to use the terrace if buying a drink at £7.50! |

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast excellent, the view fantastic. One only hic: instead of a double bed there were two single ones that had the tendency to drift apart during the night... |

the view the bathroom was smelly. there may be a problem with the drains because they were noisy most of the time, especially when the bathroom in the room above was in use. |

Enjoy the tranquillity this hotel radiates, while staying in Lisbon’s city centre, with the Eduardo VII park and the Marquês de Pombal square right at your doorstep. |
Hotel Mundial is located in the very heart of Lisbon. The small streets surrounding the hotel are full of atmosphere with small restaurants and bars wherever you go. |
Enjoy one of the most prestigious addresses in Lisbon - The Marquês de Pombar Square, overlooking the beautiful Edward VII Park. |
