the view, it was quiet.
Too hilly for my friend. bit of a rough neighborhood.
We have stayed at this hotel previously and always thought it was a good value. I do think it has become a bit dated and needs some refreshing.
W onderful view of city breakfast was pleasant and staff were helpful
The fruit was not always ripe at breakfast very little we disliked
View from room and restaurant (breakfast room)
No adverse comments
The location and friendly, helpful staff.
Pillows rather too hard for our liking. Breakfast unimpressive.
Nicely perch away from this busy and beautiful city. Wakeing up with balcony view of down-town Lisbon, which is a ten minute brisk walk. Will return next year! "Please open the bar at roof top next year" 9/10
One of the best views in town! Very inspiring and a pleasure to wake up to.
Take a taxi to get there even from the train station. The road is steep and it is always uphill
The best view in the city for its price. The Managment was helpful and friendly.
The balcony with a wonderful view was not open for dinner or drinks for sunsets.
Excellent views on Lisbon centre Our room had a balcony Convenient location 3 min walk from tram 28 stop Breakfast included freshly squeezed orange juice
plumbing from neighboring room audible
Located at the upper border with the famous Alfama quarter, thanks to its elevated position this hotel will prize you with a wonderful view of the city, spacing from the castle to the bridge on the river. Getting to Alfama or Castle is a few minutes walk and trams stop quite close as well. Personnel is very professional, nice and helpful.
No private car park
Breakfast had the best croissants I've tasted so far. Great view.
We decided to upgrade to a larger room with a terrace. fabulous to have the fresh air and the view over Lisbon.
No coffee/tea making facilities in the room.
Our bedroom was situated right underneath the breakfast room. The chairs make a lot of noise on the floor of the restaurant and we were woken up every morning for several hours by chairs being pulled in and out as people have breakfast, which was extremely loud in our room. Perhaps putting some material under the chairs so that they don't scrape against the floor so much?
cold personel / breakfast is disaster / no restaurant or even bar during a day
The view, the style, the comfortable details (efficiency), perfect wifi. Location is wonderful, except for access with luggage (tram28 too full but taxi works well)
Location, close to the old city
No restaurant in the hotel They have a nice grill bar but it's close because they don't make enough money with it. The breakfast is very poor. Very few choice and not the best quality. If you ask for more toilet paper for 2persons it's nice if they don't bring you only half a roll.. Only one electric plug in the room. Be prepared to climb the highest hill or Lisbon to get there (at the same time you get the view) That's the only thing that make the hotel survive
Spectacular view from my hotel room window. Clean, safe feeling, and with great staff. Excellent hotel. Lovely breakfast in a top floor room overlooking the city and the water. Just breathtaking.
The only drawback for me was that the hotel was located far from my conference venue, but that won;t apply to other travelers.
superb vista excellent location easy parking
The view from the restaurant is wonderfull.
We arrived on 12th of June. We could not get to our hotel late night because all roads around the hotel were closed by policy due to big Lisbon event. This had to know the hotel that there will be no possibility to drive to the hotel for some hours. We had to stay in a car and wait untill 3am !! (we could even not move anywhere due to drunked people EVERYWHERE) when the streets were unblocked again. The hotel is obliged to inform their guest about such restrictions in advance.
It was the perfect place. The views from our room were incredible. Nice room and the staff went above and beyond. We absolutely loved our stay.
There was nothing to not like.
Location Friendly staff
Basic breakfast, extra charge for extended breakfast No options for late departure (after 12.00 o'clock)
The room had a great view of Lisbon. Staff were very friendly. It's old property, but the room was very clean. I really liked this hotel and definitely will come back when I stay in Lisbon.
Nice view Helpfull staff
Off-centre; too far from public transport Small room and lavatory Poor breakfast considering the room price.
