Mycket proffsig och trevlig personal, fint rum med bra säng och dusch, god frukost, stans bästa utsikt (helt fantastisk!), rent och fint. Man får bra kondis när man traskar upp och ner för berget... det kan ta andan ur en om man inte är någorlunda vältränad. Frukostpersonalen hade försovit sig sista morgonen (det är vad jag tror) och jag kom till en stängd matsal. Det ordnade sig till slut ialla fall och jag hann äta innan jag skulle iväg... Hoppas att det var en engångsföreteelse. När hotellet byggdes på 60-talet var det nog 4-stjärnigt som det sorteras under, men jag skulle ge det 3 stjärnor idag. Det är lite slitet men det stör absolut inte. Den fina utsikten och allt annat positivt väger upp det hela. Jag har bara gott att säga om Albergaria Senhora do Monte och övernattar gärna där igen. |

Hotellet hade ett fantastiskt läge med en underbar utsikt högt uppe på en kulle.. Lugn gata, nära till centrum |

Läge högt uppe på kullen i Alfama med en helt fantastisk utsikt mot söder över centrala Lissabon. Området något slitet, men mycket charmigt med vindlande trånga gator och trevlliga små restauranger. Populära spårvagn 28 har ändhållplats 400 m från hotellet. Stort rum med härlig solbadarterrass; vänlig personal. Hårtork och kylskåp saknades på rummet; ingen hotellparkering endast gatuparkering. |

The room was spacious for the value I paid. The view from the restaurant is really good. Staff members were very helpful though they may not be updated with tour information. No internet access in the room. |

The view from the terrace was outstanding. The rooms were cleaned immaculately. Staff were friendly and not intrusive. There was a relaxed laid back atmosphere. It was expensive! but we were paying for the terrace-evenso it was too much. |

My room and the restaurant / bar had fabulous views across the whole city and looking DOWN onto the castle! The location is no good if you dislike hills and uneven pavements unless you go everywhere by taxi. superb tram at the bottom of the first hill with access to restof the city. does make you fit though! Breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very willing to help. There were very few restaurants close by for dinner and the bar only did toasted sandwiches so going out in the evening was rather another excursion rather than a stroll. |

The view. Lisbon looks pretty dreadful at ground level but moderately attractive from a distance up high on a hill Breakfast dreadful. Bathroom cramped. Really rather expensive compared to the general cost of living in Northern Portugal. No WIFI which is so easy and cheap to provide and in fact I would have willingly paid for it so they could make a good profit from providing it.. Isolated from city centre and in a dreadful area for tourists and business people. |

The view of Lisbon from my room was just heavenly! The same from the terrace. Location is very convenient, quiet area, yet close to many attractions - except if you choose to walk back to the hotel (instead of taking taxi), it's quite an exercise to make it up to the hill. |

The staff was pleasant and helpful without being overly intrusive, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the view of the city was nothing short of spectacular! All as advertised. This was an excellent bargain with all the amenities that we needed but without the "over the top" extras of four star hotels that you pay for but never use! |

The staff were incredibly helpful. Views from the hotel were stunning (especially if you have a rear facing room) and good links to the centre of the city via the tram. Rooms were very clean if a little dated. |

Very clean, comfortable room, nice breakfast, stunning view from room and restaurant, steep climb unless in taxi, not suitable unless fairly fit, not good for families with small children needing pushchairs. |

The view from our second floor room was spectacular, as was the view from the breakfast room/bar. The bartender was delightful and very accommodating. We were treated like special guests. |

the location, our room was small but charming, the bathroom nicer than I had expected on the basis of reviews (no sewer smell in ours!), the gorgeous view from our third-floor window! We were woken up each morning by the scraping chairs in the breakfast room above. Felt pads under the chairs would be one easy way to mend the problem. In addition, I would have liked to know that only a few rooms on the first floors have a terrace, the rest only have windows. |
