I liked the modern decor, everything was new and the breakfast was very good by Portugese standards. |

Neat building and close to the square, historic interests and shopping venues. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Internet access was limited to the lobby. Parking! Staff was guiding us while parking the car between two poles and car was damaged. |

Good location with breakfast and bar provided. Staff helpful. The hotel was located away from the bus drop off with very rough streets. The hotel has many steps and no elevator making handling cases very difficult. |

This is a really interesting and beautiful old building in the heart of historic Evora, so that it was easy to explore the city from the door. Staff were helpful and friendly. The bathroom needed refurbishment, and access into and within the hotel involved many steep stairs because it is historic. Parking was only available in the street on payment of 4 euros per night. |

The venue and the location are brilliant No triple rooms although they advertise for it. An outrage my friend had to sleep on a child's bed with her feet and head coming ou of the bed. The Management could not care less.... |

The location,.Staff member moved her car for us to park. There was nothing else to like about this hotel, other than leaving it. Lack of comfort. Room was small and so basic it felt like a cell, Grubby armchair in room, and old mismatched furniture. Bathroom facilities were extremely poor, shower head holder didn't work so hand held shower, old fashioned tiling with stained grout. This was a superior room, when I asked what was superior I was told the standard rooms were smaller!! |

The entrance to the Albergaria is open and airy being a delightful open walk up two flights of wide stone steps to an open veranda. The steps have large leafy plants in terracotta pots to either side - It was like entering a romantic film set. Breakfast in the large tastefully-decorated dining-room was also a wonderful experience. The room that we stayed in didn't allow us to shut the door without locking it. There was also a small step up to the bathroom that took us by surprise a couple of times! |

This is a delightfully traditional Portuguese "hotel". There are car parking slots which attract a modest charge. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Evora is a great town and the Albergaria is one of the few accommodations inside the old walls. Room was good and clean. However the selling point is the decor and charm of the reception and dining areas. Good directions allowed us to overcome a tricky location. During our stay, there was an excellent local music festival and we enjoyed a tour of the megaliths. Mind your wing mirrors on exiting along the narrow streets! |

Large room with view, old building (renewed), close to all the attractions. the bell (read other feedbacks) is really awful, but we couldn't hear it from the room. When we checked out there was not a problem to leave a car at the hotel parking for some more hours while we went to see the city. the bell :) |

My wife being slightly disabled, the staff could not have been more helpful. I emailed in advance and they arranged car parking for me and as my wife has difficulty with stairs, they personally arranged for us to get in and out of the hotel via a back door. Room was lovely and clean and cool. Breakfast was also good. We were delighted with our choice of hotel. |

A nice, old building, good location with regards to the center of Evora. The breakfast was not home-made, and it was impossible for them to make eggs and bacon even if we offered to pay extra. The doorbell rang loudly twice every time a person entered or exited the front door, quite annoying. For people with difficulties in wlking steps this is not the hotel for them. |

Breakfast was OK. Location was excellent. Mattress was very hard and too small for two people, room was also very small. We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Parking was an additional expense, but the staff helped us locate a parking spot. Also, we regretted staying one night in this town instead of merely visiting it for a few hours. |

This is a delightful and traditional hotel with a great deal of charm. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would recomend it . The automatic device to warn staff that guests had entered or left the hotel could drive one potty as it went of very frequently. It is a good idea for getting attention but the ' ring tone' could be perhaps more subtle. |

The hotel is in an excellent location in a 16th century building. I liked the fact that the breakfast room was charming with a lovely view, and there was a living room and den where one can take tea. I was disappointed with the staff who seem "burnt out" and didn't appear engaged with their clients. Also, there's an annoying bell that rings loudly every time someone comes in or goes out and it would be better if there were a way to alert the staff without having guests have to hear it. |

Lovely old building furnished with local and antique furniture, simple but comfortable bedrooms, friendly staff, and good breakfast. Good value for money place to stay, in a great position, in a lovely city. |

We really enjoyed this hotel. The decor had personality. The staff was extremely friendly and recommended places to eat in town. The view of the monastery from the room was great. Parking was easy. The town is super quiet at night, but that is what we wanted - an easy place from which to explore the area. |
