Location is perfect for all the Portimao nightlife. But, there are nicer hotels around. Very dated in parts. The sea view room we were sold was part sea and part hotel wall !!. Had to pay another £12 a night to get sea view and balcony. |

The hotel location is first class (overlooking the best beach in the Algarve), the hotel was clean, the suite we had was spacious, the staff friendly and helpful. At the present time (February 09) the road in front of the hotel has been dug up making car access impossible and access by foot dangerous. We met 2 people (both fairly elderly) who had fallen injuring themselves near the hotel. The work is due to be completed in March and frankly I would hesitate in recommending this hotel until the surrounding roads and pavements have been completed |

I would advise anyone booking a suite to get a sea view only ,otherwise they may have sleepless nights with as described below. We had a land view suite but had to change rooms twice due to air-con noise overhead.We finally got a sea view room which was perfect ! |

I go to Praia da Rocha for 46 years and this still is the best hotel there in hotel staff, rooms, location "inside" the beach and view. I made a reservation for a single room and they have put me in a suite in the last floor - the 6º- with 60 square meters, sea view - from the river to the ocean until Lagos.it was fantastic and I was very luck. |

The views over the sea are nice and the hotel has a good emplacement.. It's not a five stars hotel! Our room was not ready till 16.30 every day that was very unconfortable, the room was old, and the supletory bed for a ten years old boy, was a camping bed, there are not inside swimming pool, really is not a 5 stars hotel. |

Location, excellent public areas including main Dining Room. Breakfast buffet first class as were meals in general. Hotel rear facade needs a re-dec. (facelift). The room we were staying in needed a re-dec and updating. |

Breakfast included very good, good views, large rooms, access to beach Reqeusted non-smoking, but given a smoking room, persistent smell. Wifi only available in lobby area. Bell boy was lazy, didnt help us bring bags from car into hotel. Furniture a little old. Thin walls |

La cercanía con la playa, la piscina de agua salada, el espectáculo del casino, etc. La espera a la hora de desayunar (se forman colas para entrar) y a la hora de subir al ascensor. |

gostei de tudo no geral, ja fiquei varias vezes, a localizaçao, as instalaçoes, e o atendimento e disponibilidade dos funcionarios. Nos tens que correm, e o estatuto do hotel, só acho que o pagamento da internet esta algo ultrapassado. |
