Algarve Casino Hotel

The situation of the hotel is beautiful overlooking the wonderful beach of Praia da Rocha. Worth the extra cost for a seaview room with balcony. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet and helpful staff. Public areas, gardens and pools very well kept, lots of sunbeds.

One very small niggle -the coffee at breakfast could be much better!

slow service; we received key for the bedroom; but the room was not ready yet. breakfast room was too small; every morning a line of people had to wait for breakfast.

Location is perfect for all the Portimao nightlife. But, there are nicer hotels around.

Very dated in parts. The sea view room we were sold was part sea and part hotel wall !!. Had to pay another £12 a night to get sea view and balcony.

The hotel location is first class (overlooking the best beach in the Algarve), the hotel was clean, the suite we had was spacious, the staff friendly and helpful.

At the present time (February 09) the road in front of the hotel has been dug up making car access impossible and access by foot dangerous. We met 2 people (both fairly elderly) who had fallen injuring themselves near the hotel. The work is due to be completed in March and frankly I would hesitate in recommending this hotel until the surrounding roads and pavements have been completed

Hulpvaardig personeel, goede kamer met uitzicht op zwembad en zee. Goed met en grote kamer met balkon.

Solamente a ilocalização, muito bem localizado e com saída direta para a praia.

A localização fantástica; o pequeno-almoço que é muito agradável; a área da piscina; enfim acho realmente que é um dos melhores hoteis à beira mar em Portugal e que merece a classificação; a maioria dos empregados extremamente atenciosos. Um hotel para a vida e para voltar sempre; muita classe

Durante toda a estadia apenas ocorreu um episodio desagradável mas que penso que seja um caso isolado e não seja politica do hotel: ao pequeno almoço mesmo existindo várias mesas disponíveis os lugares junto à janela e portanto com 1 vista fantástica só eram ocupados por determinadas pessoas, estrangeiros sobretudo, o que não me parece correcto.

La habitación "suite" con mobiliario de los 70 viejo, tele de 17" de tubo, sin aislamiento acústico, y cara.

La situation de l'établissement et sa piscine formidable.

C'est loin d'être un 5 étoiles, 3 tout au plus, mobilier vieux des années 70 complétement cassé. Moquette décollée au sol, trace d'humidité au plafond, clim en panne tout ça dans une suite....
