the central position is an asset, BUT the road in front of the hotel, placed next to a fire station is far too busy. the parking facility could be made free and accessible during longer hours: it closes at 8PM; |

Every thing separately was Ok, nice size room, clean, parquet floor, twin beds OK, the room had a room to sleep, a room with a sofa that opens into a bed and a bathroom plus a balcony. the view was to the river, very nice but an awful construction site in between. The general feeling of the room is not so nice, even each item is Ok the whole feeling is cheap. |

The hotel is located near to the historical centre. The staff is very friendly, has helped to order places on Fado. Parking is absent. |

I came in early to check-in, at which time, they didn't have a single room available. They suggested I stayed at a double-room, with no extra charges. Not me, but a few colleagues had to leave without the receipt due to some hardware problems (printer). |

Breakfast is very good. Good selection of fruits, hot and cold food, freshly brewed coffee. Breakfast room staff and cleaning ladies very friendly Entrance very poor. Located in a busy road and parking facilities very limited (though Coimbra is a very cramped town). Building works in the grounds at the back of hotel a bit noisy. My friends in the other room complained about a thin door which failed to isolate noise from corridor. For me the bed was ok but one of my friends found the mattress too hard and could not sleep well. |

Staff at reception wer exceptionally quick and eficient when I had a problem witha lost wallet. Their quick response secured its return within minutes. |

Very helpful English-speaking staff on the front desk; very good breakfasts (but typical hotel coffee!); hotel arrangement with the parking next door was well organised. Our double room was rather small and cramped; the twin room our son had as a single was much bigger! |

Good location (close to sightseeing points as well as train and bus stations), very good offer for breakfast, free internet WiFi access (if you have your own computer). the room might be a bit cleaner. |
