Clean, tidy. nice views, quiet We had only bed & breakfast, but also paid for 1 evening meal in the main hotel - this food was not good. The food in the main Hotel was not tasty, poor selection, very overpriced for what was available, we were very dissappointed. The Pizza restaurant however, which we also eat at (twice) was excellent in service and food. |

Everything was good, except the things listed in the next point. It is part of a larger hotel chain, every service (except breakfast and reception during weekdays) was available in the main hotel only. I was absolutely satisfied with the other facilities and staff of the hotel chain (Galo Resort) but next time probably I would choose one of their other hotels (Galosol or Galomar) which are more 'centrally' located. |

Alpino Atlântico was overboekt, dus zijn wij in sport hotel Galosol terecht gekomen. Netjes afgehandeld, beviel goed. |

La vue sur la mer et les petites îles voisines, les piscines et la terrasse, les hammams, le spa, la chambre spacieuse et son restaurant de poissons, la proximité de Funchal sans les inconvénients de la ville et l'accessibilité de l'aéroport (15 mn par la voie expresse); La pizzeria voisine et faisant partie du groupe est à déconseiller fortement aux amateurs de "véritables pizzas" (pâte molle, sans saveur). Eviter également le "rosé" recommandé par le serveur ! |

Ruime kamers en een groot aanbod van faciliteiten, zoals zwembad (binnen en buiten, restaurants, suana, jacuzzi etc..). Ook zeer rustig gelegen met mooi uitzicht op de zee. Er heerste buiten regelmatig een geur van onverbrande aardgas. Ik merkte op dat naast het hotel een gasbrander werkte (vermoedelijk voor opwarmen van het sanitair water), maar deze brander was naar mijn oordeel slecht afgesteld. |

Je n'ai pas séjourné dans cet hôtel comme prévu pour cause de surbooking. (Voir ci dessous) J'ai été logé à l'hôtel ondamar de la même chaine "galo" mais la prestation (grosse unité réservée aux groupes) ne correspondait pas à mon choix d'origine (petite unité de 25 chambres). Même si le personnel a fait de son mieux pour trouver une solution, je ne recommande pas cette chaine d'hôtel galo à cause de son manque de professionnalisme. |

Prachtige ruime kamer. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Jammer dat je voor het restaurant naar het hoofdhotel moet (op 300 m afstand). |
