Extremely helpful and friendly staff, judicious choice of menu for the breakfast buffet; there isn't a huge selection, but everything required is there, and of good quality. Swimming pool and sauna are nice to start and/or finish a day of sightseeing. Major construction going on across one side of the hotel. After the first night we asked if there were rooms on the other side, and the staff immediately found us one. |

It is an old hotel needing to be renewed. At my check-in, they didn´t have my reservation in the system. It has the poorest breakfast I have ever seen in a five star hotel. |

Location is very good. Not really a five stars hotel: rooms are 3 stars. At night, went for a drink and when returning to the hotel had to wait for 10 minutes outside because nobody answered the ring. Very annoying. |

The Hotel Altis is well located within walking distance of many fine restuarants. The price for internet access is one of the highest I have come across in Europe. 20Euro for 24hours. |

The Altis Hotel is good located in the city center and is clean and tidy. The hotel is a bit outdated, but still ok. The receptionist who handled my check-in could have tried to be a bit friendly. |

I have used this hotel several times during the last five years. Usually I travel alone to attend a project meeting, but this time I had my wife and baby with me. Very good breakfast and good location for business and holiday. Taxi easy to get and metro station nearby. City centre is within walking distance. Rooms are quiet and large enough so that an extra bed for baby fits nicely. Better network access from the room (WiFi) would be nice. Free WiFi would be even better. Bathrooms need renovation (especially a hand held shower head would be handy). |

The main reason for choosing the hotel was its location. Not far from the historical center. Also we payed attention to the rate of the hotel. We got everything that we expected: good service, good room, good breakfast, due to the location we could have a nice 5-minutes walk to the center of Lissabon. Metro station is not far from the Hotel. |

Everything was perfect : the situation, room, breakfast, personal etc. - very good valua for the price wich was 100 EUR/double. We had to stay 9 extra nights because of the volcano cloud, but that was no problem for the personal or the hotel. Also internet in business center helped a lot. |

Excellent breakfast -wide range of selection, and helpful waiters. Reception staff also very knowledgable and efficient, but at busy times, needed more on duty. Its location, in the centre of the 'banking' area of Lisbon, meant there was a lack of friendly local cafes etc in the evening. |

The room was comfortable, very clean, the bathroom was great. We also enjoyed the pool and gym, and used the internet facility. The only thing I did not like was the shuttle bus. There were no instructions on the website saying you had to go to parking lot no. 3 to catch the bus. I waited outside the terminal by a sign that said "complimentary shuttle bus." No bus ever came, so I took a taxi. The breakfast and coffee shop were overpriced so we did not use them. |

Good breakfast. It was not convenient for us that swimming pool was closed too early (at 7pm). As a result we failed to use it within 4 days stay! We would prefer it working up to 8:30 or 9pm. Cosmetic renovation is also desirable. |

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. The main dissapointment was the hotel was classed as 5*. I travel around the world and this did not match my expectation of 5*. |

kindness of staff not really made for business people, mainly concerning rooms which have no wifi, only quite slow cable connection... room set up could be far better, decoration is too old style. If redecorated in a more fashionable way (more colors), this hotel could be the hippiest in all Lisbon. |

Staff generally helpful and cleaning staff really nice The buffet breakfast is a cattle market which encopurages staff to be rude and surly which they regularly are. The breakfast is largely carbohydrates and little variety from day to day |

Location, staff, restaurantand bar was nice. In order to be considered as 5* hotel, it needs quite a renovation of room furniture and pool facilities. |
