Great hosts, great room, great location.

The staff were very efficient and polite.

The hotel lacks any intimacy, there were many small issues, no towels in the pool area, dust in the rooms, smears on the mirrors, no information about facilities in the rooms and none were given at check in either. I even had to queue to ask someone the time and location of breakfast! Not really a 5* hotel

Breakfast, room service, restaurant. I booked a suite and they tried to change my room during the check in. Actually they tried to convince me to accept another room in Altis Suites, which is not the same hotel and has nothing to do with my reservation.

Staff was very friendly, and they tried to help us in every second. and also the location of the hotel is perfect, it's just 2 minutes from luxury stores (prada, gucci, and etc.) and only 7-8 minutes to city centre.

Breakfast was so weak. Foods from restaurant not so delicious.

Our room was spacious and pleasant The staff exceptional! They were welcoming, helpful, competent! The hotel was centrally located, making it easy to get around the city. We had both room service and we ate in the dining rooms - all good.

I was sorry the spa was being renovated when we were there - otherwise, there was nothing that I did not like.

Receptionist was quite rude and impatient on check-in.

Staff were superb, very friendly and helpful. Relaxing pool to finish off the day. Excellent breakfast selection. The foyer with its tasteful decor had a nice bar area which offered coffees and cakes at very reasonable prices.

The pool changing areas could do with an update, it was a bit unfresh.

Another great experience staying at the Altis. Restaurant on 10th floor also absolutely superb. Staff extremely helpful.

Showers would benefit from thermostatic valves, as it has already been mentioned on this site. This does not put me off staying again - as I already booked my next business trip to Lisbon and back at the Altis once more!

Breakfasts: tea was cold. Had to request coffee (but they did have espresso on tap).

Hotel location is practical and the existence of a free airport shuttle service is very good. I used it when leaving the hotel to go to the airport. I liked the fact there was an indoor pool and I found the staff to be friendly, helpful and professional. Fruit at breakfast was good. Despite all the faults and problems with the hotel I enjoyed my time. Value for money was good because the room had a large discount.

This is far from being a 5-star hotel in terms of decor, food, ambience and facilities, but it is a functional, business hotel. The quality of the food from Room Service ranged from adequate to truly awful. I sent one meal back twice, but was thankfully given a full refund. The health suite was not open despite the website saying it was. The pool is functional and 3-star in quality. I tried to book the transfer shuttle for my arrival with the hotel via email, but I did not get a reply. I requested a room with a nice view, but didn't get one. The safe in the room wasn't working and it had to be replaced. Breakfast - the bacon needs cooking more, as do the scrambled eggs. (All the above makes me sound like one of those hyper critical, negative and moaning type of people, but I'm not. I'm just reporting the facts.)

The availability for transfers were rubbish, fluctuations in ER meant we had to pay an additional charge of £45 compared to the time if booking, there were no tea or coffee facilities or complimentary water in the room, no cocktails and canapés as explained on the website

Loved the design and look of the Hotel, also the location was perfect. Really comfortable in the rooms, and attention to detail towards us.

Bed wasn't made at arrival. Staff arguing in corridors. Corridors were not clean and pool and relaxation areas where not what was expected.

Fairly good location, 5-7 min walk from Avenida metro station. Also close proximity to shopping areas. Free wi-fi.

Breakfast was disappointing: I would expect more from a five star hotel. You will not be starving, but not more than that. Also they charged wrong credit card for the first night - makes sense to double check at check-in.

Outstanding service by the stuff, lovely accommodation, always clean and very comfortable, great location in Lisbon, great breakfast with plenty of choice, restaurant and bars upstairs absolutely amazing. This was my second time staying at the Altis and it wont be the last one. Highly recommended.
