It was fairly cheap and still somewhat close up the metro It is about 5 blocks up hill from m pombal station and the shuttle to the airport costs 50% more than a taxi (16 euro shuttle vs 10 for the taxi).

Excellent location (although up a few steep hills!) with some fantastic cafes and a supermarket nearby. Room was spacious, clean and well equipped with the basics, and cleaned daily. Excellent value for money if like us you just want a base to see the beautiful sights in Lisbon! A mini fridge in the room would have been perfect!

The hotel is quite ok for that money. Location is good for city tour. Near all open city tour buses start. One of hotel staff (reception) was not friendly and helpfull when we asked to make reservation of Sintra trip

My boyfriend and I stayed in a wonderful room (814) for two days at the beginning of our holiday, and two days in a different "equivalent" room (815) at the end of our trip. Room 814 was lovely, comfortable, and clean. Room 815 had broken glass on the balcony, mold in the bathtub tiling, and little water pressure. The bed in 815 was lumpy and uncomfortable. It is conveniently located to central Lisboa. The beginning of the holiday was lovely at the hotel, the end of the holiday was not as comfortable due to the room. Room 815 -- disparity between "equivalent" rooms.

I found the hotel staff to be efficient and helpful at all times. The location is good too as it is close to a number of good restaurants, and only a twenty minute walk to the town center

Good value for the money. I asked for a room with balcony from floor 6 and up (in the booking form on this site). I got a room with balcony at floor 7 which was great. Had a great view over the entire city. Close to the gay area. Cleaning in the room could have been better. They also forgot to change the soap when it finished.

They have a little pool which is nice to cool off. A small dip, but other than that not the place to stay the whole day. Besides that mainly the price is good. Try to ask for a room with a balcony. Staff not that friendly. Rooms are rather old and would need some refurbishment.

Reception & bar staff were friendly and helpful- we got a late check-out with no problems at all, rooms were basic but cleaned every day to a good standard & minibar was reasonably priced. Location was decent, in a quiet neighbourhood next to a lovely leafy square, but easy to catch a cab or metro to the city. Beautiful view from the balcony too!! Ummmmmmm it was uphill? :D (like everywhere in Lisbon!!) Only 1 lift was working while we were there which was a slight pain. The ac was a little noisy & old-fashioned, but on the whole it was fine for the bargain price we got!

Amazonia is not at its best time and should be renovated, but I can not complain as the price was reasonable. It is quite near to the city center (15-20 minutes walking from Barrio Alto), and next to the metro stations. If you lucky enough (we were:) you can get a room with the fantastic view over the city and the river. You don't need to buy breakfast at the hotel (it is 8 euro), as there are plenty of cafes around with much better prices could be more up to date, but you get what you pay for.

Hôtel confortable et propre. Bonne literie.
