America Diamond's Hotel

Mivel a hotelt 3 éve újították fel, így a berendezés igényes, tiszta. A hotel a város forgalmas útja mellett van, de az ablakok tökéletes hangszigetelése miatt ebből semmit nem lehet észrevenni. A reggelinél van választék. A metro, és a buszmegálló a ház előtt, 5 perc alatt a Tejo parton lehet az ember. A szomszédos utcákban minden üzlet megtalálható az éttermektől az élelmiszerüzletig. Abszolút ajánlom mindenkinek.

Az étteremben a felszolgálók egyáltalán nem mondhatók udvariasnak vagy kedvesnek, annak ellenére, hogy csak portugálul köszöntünk stb.

If I had to be honest thought the bar area was bigger than what it was.

Whilst not in the city centre, the location was very good with both metro and buses on the doorstep. Well appointed air-conditioned rooms. Very reasonable continental breakfast. Evening bar till midnight. Very helpful reception desk. Completely refurbished in 2006.

Do not accept the advice to visit the Velho Pateo De Sant'Ana Fado restaurant - very expensive.

Very good location, just off the metro station and 10 min walk from Pombal Square, very nice and helpful staff, confortable rooms with good isolation from the street noise (although not all rooms are big so, if you are 2 or 3 people using the same room, ask about the size of you room before checking in), late hours for serving breakfast(10:30 but nobody asks you to leave if you are 15 min late), very good value for the money. Almost everybody speaks English in Portugal and the people are very nice and helpful so you don't have to worry about getting lost, the public transportation is excellent (cheap and confortable) so don't waste your money on organized tours.

There are 2 computers with internet connection in the lobby but you have to pay 2 euros for 1/2 hour. I thought I read the Internet was free of charge in this hotel which was a very good argument (on top of the ones listed above) in making me choose this hotel.

Tube station right in front of it; free wifi in high speed, courteous recepcionists, clean room, rich breakfast.
