Hotel Apartamento Areias Village  

It was handy to both old and new town. Very clean and modern.

A few of the staff at reception weren't that pleasant although there was a girl on when we arrived who was extremely helpful.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Stayed in March and it was very cold outside in the evenings but cosy and warm in the apartments.

3pm check in, we arrived 10am and were assured by the receptionist that the room would be ready soon, we were given the keys at 3.45 to find the room hadnt been touched, we were moved to an alternative room and the 2hrs later moved to the original room when it was finally cleaned. The receptionist informed us we would not be charged for the first night due to the inconvenience caused so we didn't complain any further. On check out we were charged by the same receptionist who said there was nothing she could do!!

Not only is this a lovely hotel with modern and stylish furnishings, it is situated in a good location for young groups (The Strip is a 5 minute walk away and Kiss club is directly opposite). Once you arrive at Arieas Village, you're expectations will be exceeded if you're budgeting. The staff were friendly and helpful and I'd definitely refer people to Areias Village if asked where to stay in Albufeira/Oura.

Myself and a friend shared a twin room and were slightly disappointed with the beds. They were not the most comfiest. Also, breakfast was very disapointing as there seemed to be little effort in the hot food choices. The baked beans weren't even warm and we were disgusted to be charged €8.50 each for cold beans on toast- which we had to make ourselves. I'm sure the restaurant will be better during the busy season but in March, I'd recommend you walk 1 minute west to the Cinema Club, they serve a good breakfast and a great latte!

Quality, service, cleanliness, beauty - the luxury of the fittings and furnishings far outshone what we expected, especially at the price we paid.

Check-in staff (girl) not friendly or helpful. We asked for a pool side room and didnt get it. We asked for a toaster and it took 2 hours to get it. We asked (same receptionist ) about golf and she wasnt able to advise us on where to go. She didnt seem to enjoy her job.

The cleaning of the room and the balcony was not good.

The noise from the disco accross the road was extremely loud, especially when they left the disco around 7.30 am. There was no point trying to sleep before then and the maid came knocking at 9.30. I would never dream of staying here again. I came here to get away and relax but it was a nightmare. The wi-fii signal was just too weak, but the cafe accross the road Cepa Torta had excellent signal, in fact I am in here now typing this as we moved to an alternative hotel. I do not think that you can believe the star rating in Portugal in Ireland this place would not have a star.

Pessoal da recepção muito simpático, boa arquitectura, áreas comuns muito bem cuidadas. Ambiente geral tranquilo nesta época do ano. Boa piscina. Relação qualidade/preço francamente convidativa. Possiblidade de ir para uma praia optima a pé (praia dos Aveiros). Ideal para férias fora das épocas de pico.

A limpeza dos apartamentos podia ser mais completa e cuidada. Os serviços de apoio à piscina não estavam a funcionar nesta época. Penso que no mês de Agosto sofrerá pela sobrelotação da área envolvente e das praias mais próximas...

Sin duda, el precio. Ya que una semana ha costado 76€ solo alojamiento y me he quedado bastante sorprendido por la ubicación y confort

Gostei de tudo, da simpatia dos funcionários, do conforto do hotel e de estar perto da cidade e da praia. Podíamos deslocarmos-nos a pé porque estávamos perto de tudo.
