The hotel is comfortable, situated in the city center. It is an ideal starting point for trips around the island. Free internet at the reception. You may have difficulties with parking when you rent a car. There is no cleaning stuff to wash dishes in a kitchenette. |

The room was always perfectly clean, even dishes, the staff were very helpful also. If i had to chose anything then I would say that the lift was a bit slow. |

The central location in a relatively quiet back street was very handy for all we wanted to do. 1. Whilst very clean and spacious, the kitchen equipment was poor. We had to ask for a second dinner plate! Utensils were minimal. There was no washing up liquid or cloth. 2. The roof terrace (as advertised on the website) seemed to be under repair. And, if I hadn't read about it, I wouldn't have known it was there - the staff did not tell us about it when we arrived. |

It was in the centre of Funchal near the Cathedral and near everything. Breakfast was expensive so we didn't try it as all facilities in room for self catering. |

Near all city buses to make the trip an adventure. Staff & cleanliness top order. Kitchenette well supplied. Wi-fi in lobby & free computer ! Maid service very good. Location near decent Rest. & shopping. View from roof with deck chairs. Biggest plus is the staff ! Some rooms face back with little light but with so much to do in Madeira, & the exceptional attitude of the staff, along with competitive price of the room, I would stay there anyway because I liked the location. |

Excellent location in old town, close to bus routes, sea front & restaurants. The hotel is well away from the main tourist hotels, has a roof terrace with fantastic views and is quiet. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room wasn't that big and we had no view from our first floor room. |

The Da Sé Hotel is located in the centre of Funchal. No car is needed to reach all important spots in this city. One free internet PC at the lobby and free WLAN there as well. As the price of just around EUR 265 per week for an apartment room is outstanding, I give a clear recommendation. The hotel is very clairaudient and the automatic close of the doors of the rooms is a bit noisy. As the guests are quite calm the hotel can be classified as calm on the whole. The bathroom is illuminated pretty dark, so I wasn't able to see if my daily shaving was successful or not. The TV with 12 inch / 36 cm is not the largest, but I don't stay at hotels to watch TV. |
