Loation, Location, Location. Budget. Hotel Personel very friendly and professional. Very clean. BREAKFAST:Sometimes missing Cheese, Ham, Butter, Juices... To no fault of staff. Will recommend hotel with improvement on the above. |

Helpful friendly staff. Excellent location, close to everything. Was lucky enough to get top floor front room with huge balcony overlooking 'the Strip'. Roomy, yet charming. Bed was hard, as were pillows, but spare pillows in closet were soft. Could have put an iron in the room. But minor considering the pluses. |

We loved our large room and balcony at Hotel Gaivota so much that after we took a side trip to Faial for a couple of days, we returned to our same room at the Hotel. We especially enjoyed the balcony overlooking the marina right across the street. Due to the seafood restaurant next door, sometimes the hotel lobby smelt like fish. |

Some of the staff were extremely nice and helpful......but only some! Having specified a non-smoking room with big bed we were ushered to a stinky smoking room with two small single beds overlooking a demolition site. We were told that guests who booked through online agencies were always given these rooms. The guy did not help with the luggage even when we changed rooms after a long discussion on the matter! |

Localização e o Quart Serviço durante o Pequeno Almoço. Os funcionários não repunham a comida nem limpavam as mesas usadas. |

A localização e a resposta dada aos assuntos que apresentei para correcção. Também a ajuda dos funcionários quando foi necessário. Problemas de limpeza na varanda causada pela presença de pombos e de restos de cigarros. Este problema foi rápidamente ultrapassado quando apresentado aos funcionários. |

Henkilökunta oli erittäin avuliasta ja ystävällistä. Hotellin sijainti erinomainen: meriuimala parin minuutin kävelymatkan päässä, satama-alue, josta meriretket lähtivät, tosi lähellä. Sänky oli hyvä. Näkymät takapihalle eivät olleet erityisen miellyttäviä. |

Da afabilidade e simpatia dos funcionários da recepção. A localização em relação à cidade e ao mar. Pela experiência de outros hotéis de 4 estrelas, parece-me, muito sinceramente, que este está sobrevalorizado. Há que ter maior atenção ao problema das pombas, nas varandas viradas à Av. Marginal, pois a sua constante presença e os detritos deixados nesse espaço inviabilizam a sua utilização, o que francamente é uma pena dada a localização do hotel. |

O hotel está muito bem localizado com vista para a marina, perto de autocarros, taxis e rent a car, no centro da cidade. É apesar disso muito sossegado, é possível descanasar entre visitas à cidade e voltas pela ilha. |

Rauhallinen ja asiallinen hotelli, palvelu oli ystävällistä ja melkein kaikki vastasi odotuksia aamiaista lukuunottamatta. Aamiainen oli niukka ja joka aamu sama, kaipasimme tuoreita vihanneksia. Parveke oli epäsiisti johtuen pääasiassa pulujen ulosteista (lienee ongelma jolle ei voi mitään). |
