Nice weather, the character of 'The Old Village,' the variety of good restaurants, our apartment and the shopping amenities.

Disappointed that there was a charge being levied for the sun beds at the swimming pool. I have never had to pay this anywhere before.

Excellent ground floor apartment with direct access to ye main pool. Lovely little garden for our toddler. Out of the way of vilamoura but perfect walking distance

The Old village has a very relaxing atmosphere, our apartment was spacious, clean & very quiet. The Old Village has 3 pools, 3 restaurants, 2 bars & a mini mart, it also has a train that runs down to the beach or Marina!

The staff was friendly, the parc outside was beautiful and perfectly maintained. Bars and restaurants on the site were prasctical but their prices were "for tourists". Matresses were good quality. Big pluspoint: nice, functional fireplace.

Very poor and cheap kitchen materials: it wasn't even possible to cook some scrambled eggs with the only pan in the house. Cheap Arcoroc dishes...Our 2-bedroom appartment did not look as nice and stylish as shown on the pictures on booking.com.

Beautiful setting, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Swimming pools and bars/restaurants on site

Slightly out of town but a short cut across the park makes the walk more interesting

The layout of the old village is loverly,our studio apartment was ideal,shop had all we needed with others not to far away.

While we were there weather wasn't to good,so maybe a indoor pool or heated pool would of been good,but certainly didn't spoil our stay.

The old village is a very pretty setting

I didn't like the fact that the apartment we had was not that private, you could see into the apartment opposite so didn't feel very comfortable about sitting out on the patio.

The location was great and lots of restaurants on site. Room was well equipped.

Payiing for sunbeds was not what I would expect.

The Old Village is a self-contained complex, we were there for 1 week and somedays, we didn't leave it at all, staying at the pool and then eating in one of the 6 restaurants. The reception staff, the cleaning staff, the staff at the main pool and the bar at the main pool were all excellent and very helpful

We stayed at The Old Village for 8 nights at the end of June 2012. We hired a rental car, which made life a lot easier - there is plenty of room to park very close to the apartments. All the staff (reception, pool bar and catering) were extremely friendly, approachable and helpful. We chose to walk to the marina and back most nights for dinner (about 15-20 minutes, once you find the quicker route through the park) which was fine for us as we like to keep active or I'm sure a taxi would only be a few minutes. The marina was beautiful (particularly recommend Il Lamparo restaurant, gorgeous food, lovely outside sitting area and great staff) and the beaches are great. The beaches are quite a walk away, but we drove there so didn't find it a problem. Our apartment was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was light and airy, our towels were changed once during the time we stayed, but that was fine for us. We rarely heard any noise from passers by even though we were in the heart of the apartments (although school hols might be different!). In essence, we would highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

Can't fault this place at all, if I had to write a negative it would only be that you had to pay for sun loungers by the pool - but at least it stops people hogging more than they need and the pool staff were very helpful and the whole area was kept clean.

Great facilities, staff very friendly and helpful, lovely room and a very nice roof terrace that gave us a bit of privacy if we wanted. I would love to go back and stay again.

Our room was modern with everything we needed including an oven and wash machine. It was spacious even though there was just the two of us staying. The grounds were beautifuly kept and the whole place was peaceful and relaxing. It was also only a lovely 15 min walk to marina but taxis were very cheap as an alternative from walking. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The pools were quiet and clean. It was a very enjoyable stay overall and would definitely return and recommened.

Only thing was that you are charged for the sun loungers morning and afternoon...upon booking I don't remember being informed about this, I would have expected it to be included in the price. We went when it was not a peak time so seemed a cheek to ask us to pay when there was nobody at the pool anyways! Cleaners only make beds, nothing was cleaned while we were there but because it was an apartment it was understandable and we cleaned up after ourselves anyways but would have been nice if the bathroom was cleaned.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The place was kept spotlessly clean. Very secure, especially for children. Also, budget-friendly restaurant for kids meals and cheap supermarket.

It had a look about being a local village that had everything and more. Local shops bars restaurants and even luxury swiming pools. It has plenty to help with young children like a few places to climb and explore. A good al round place to go and good for a week budget.

Unless your in ur appartment for coming out of the. Heat then there are not many places to go to cool down, unless its the bars, restaurants, or even pool

Bekommt man ein neu renoviertes Appartment ist es wirklich gut.Die gesamte Gestalltung/Optik der Anlage.

Waren zum zweiten mal dort und hatten das Pech, dass dieses Appartment 4 ABC sehr alt war. Dreckige und verschimmelte Badezimmer. Haare im Abfluss. Küche/Kühlschrank sehr alt kaputt und dreckig. Die Schlafzimmer/Bett stanken muffig. Dachterrasse absolut dreckig. Es wurde in 4 Tage nicht einmal gewischt und am Sonntag passiert überhaupt nichts. Unverschämt das man dafür aber den gleichen Preis zahlen muss. Leider war der zweite Besuch eine große Enttäuschung....!!! Die Anlage ist zu 95% auf Engländer ausgerichtet.

TOP. Absolutamente fabuloso o aldeamento. Muito perto da Marina de Vilamoura. Fácil acesso de carro a todas as parias do Algarve. Tranquilo. Estúdio com todas as comodidades.

O apartamento que nos foi entregue não correspondia ao que se encontrava atribuído no site, sndo que as areas são muito pequenas..

Gostamos do local e dos exteriores.

Estudio pouco confortavel com ar condicionado avariado.

Die Räume und Ausstattung des Appartments waren OK

Bauarbeiten während der gesamten Woche. Schmutzige ungepflegte Anlage. Alle Restaurants waren geschlossen. Wir waren abhängig von einem Auto sonst wäre es grauenvoll geworden. Das Angebot entsprach keinesfalls der Informationen die im Internet und von booking.com angeboten waren. Es war eine grosse Enttäuschung...

Lugar muito tranquilo e requintado, casa com todas as comodidades, limpa e sem cheiros, grande varanda e ainda um imenso terraço com churrasqueira, fácil estacionamento e próximo da Marina de Vilamoura.

O apartamento era muito bom, com uma cozinha totalmente equipada e com um bom quarto de banho. A localização é excelente. A piscina quase privada é muito boa.

O facto das piscinas principais terem só espreguiçadeiras à volta e estas serem pagas.

Villaggio delizioso, in posizione tranquilla ma sufficientemente vicino al mare e al diertimento. Appartamenti provvisti di tutto e super puliti. Ottima scelta di ristoranti.

O ambiente do aldeamento com ruas repletas de canteiros e espaços com jardins bem cuidados. Bonito! Tem 3 piscinas pequenas, mas com estilos diferentes que permite encontrar o espaço adequado ao seu estilo e todas com bar incorporado. Os apartamentos têm umas varandas agradáveis com grelhador e macas. Os aparatmentos são limpos e têm as comodidades essenciais para uma familia, inclusive para poder cozinhar e lavar roupa. Tem supermercado, bares e restaurantes no aldeamento. Tive um problema à chegada que foi bem resolvido pela pessoa que me recebeu.

Falta de ar condicionado no meu apartamento (11a). Existem outros apartamentos com ar condicionado. Pagar as cadeira na piscina: 1,5€ por cadeira e por metade do dia. Falta de Internet no apartamento. Mas tem Internet grátis no bar.
