Excellent location, beautiful garden near the hotel, friendly staff, studio apartment with good area, shopping mall near by with supermarket and lot of shops, no charge for small kids.

Small breakfast room with no windows. Kitchenette with no cutting knifes.

The location was excellent & the room we had was well equipped with kitchen utensils.

Silly little details but a few things needed fixing.Bidet towel rail fell off & the release plug wouldn't let out water. Toaster shorted out, reported but not replaced. Door on fridge needed fixing.

Very convenient location near city centre, restaurants, etc and buses to other parts of Madeira. Very good price for the high quality accommodation and excellent breakfast. Very well equipped kitchenette.

No opening windows, only doors to balcony, so leaving them open at night meant locking the external shutters which also more or less shut out any daylight.

Kitchen (with low noise refrigerator). Terrase. Large room. Breakfast buffet.

Signal strength of wireless signal was non-existing in room 305. Could only get signal close to the elevator in the hall way. (Tested with 2 different cell phones and a ipad mini)

We spent a wonderful time in Funchal, the room was very spacious, super clean and very well equiped. It's just 2 minutes from shopping centre, parks and everything what you need. Location is perfect!The room was cleaned every day, breakfast was good. If you are looking for a good and not expensive hotel for your holiday for sure I can recommend this one!well done.

Wi fi conection is very slow, more selection of hot food for breakfast, not comfy bed...double bed means 2 single together

Poor lighting after dark. Poorly equipped kitchen facilities. Wi-fi in room was absent at first; the remedy was clumsy, but effective.

Excellent location, close to all city facilities and tourist sights. Supermarket, bread/coffee shop 2 minutes walk away. Decent sized kitchenette. Friendly, very helpful staff. Apartment cleaned daily. Good value for money. We liked the total flexibility it gave us (compared to staying in a hotel)

The hotel is situated at the centre of the town with shopping mall and supermarket within 1 minute walking distance. the room is clean and tidy and the kitchen is full equipped, so there is no need to bring anything with you except your clothing. Although it sits in the centre of the town, it's very quiet where only a minor single carriageway in front of the hotel. 3min walk down to the seafront is the key selling point here.

It will be excellent if there is an extract fan installed in the kitchen. it is very important to the residents who wish to prepare pan fried seafood in their rooms.

As it allowed to smoke in the rooms in Madeira, room smelled a lot of cigarettes. No Wi-Fi internet only cable, not possible to use your phone Wi-Fi.

The location is fantastic! You won't find a better (quality) located hotel in the centre of Funchal. Within 2 minutes you're on the sea front - plus the park and all the cosmopolitan facilities of Funchal are on your door step. The staff are friendly, professional and very hospitable. The breakfasts were fresh, varied and with an eggs and/or sausages option if you wish - this was freshly prepared upon request. The cleanliness of the whole hotel and rooms is superb!

I booked the hotel after reading all the excellent reviews it has on Trip Advisor, but.... I forgot to check whether it has a swimming pool or not ;-( .........it doesn't. We found our stay at the Atlantida to be similar to that of staying at a B&B in the UK. This was my fault and in no way reflects on the Atlantida generally.

Lack of wireless internet connection in rooms (just cable available)

Esta decorado con sencillez, gran gusto, y es comodo Con wi-fi gratuito. Proximidad a un gran area comercial, para adquirir viveres. El personal es agradable, servicial y muy profesional.

Me ha gustado mucho la situacion de los apartamentos y la amplitud y limpieza de las habitaciones.

Que hubiese el aparato de wifi en nuestra habitacion para todo el pasillo. Y en el desayuno echaba en falta miel y aceite.

La ubicación y el trato de las de recepción.Los apartamentos muy espaciosos y cómodos.

El escándalo que hacían casi todas las mañanas, sobre las 7:00 de la mañana, de las dos personas que limpiaban. Un día se pusieron a limpiar la habitación de al lado a las 6:30 de la ,mañana. Un horror.En cambio, un domingo que salimos por la mañana y volvimos a comer al apartamento, nos encontramos con la habitación sin hacerla y nos llamaron a las 16:15 para hacerla. La limpieza de la habitación muy por encima. Falta de una sarten en la cocina; y de geles y jabón en el baño.

La ubicacion, es muy buena. El personal muy atento.

Podia tener algo mas de menaje en la cocina.

Quartos espaçosos. Aspecto novo. Localização no centro da cidade. Garagem privativa.

Dificuldade de entrar na rua. Pequeno-almoço pouco variado.
