Aqua Pedra Dos Bicos Design Beach Hotel    

When we arrived we were greeted with a smile, lovely reception staff very helpfully, the hotel is very clean, breakfast was nice, cooked English if you wanted it or they had yogurt cereal ext, pool quite small limited sunbed, beach 10 min walk, to the main strip 5 min walk, supermarket round the corner, taxi rank near hotel, hotel rooms clean, big rooms, lovely shower, couldn't fault it really would stay here again!!!!

This was our fifth time to stay at the Aqua Preda, we love the location close to the beach and a great selection of restaurants. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and very clean as is all of the hotel. Great selection for breakfast, something for everyone.

The late check- in. 16.00 hrs is late.

The seal around the bath/shower leaked and created a damp musty smell. Breakfast coffee appeared to be "poor quality instant" which was a disappointment from an hotel of this standard

Free WiFi wouldn't go amiss!

It was mine and my boyfriends birthdays whilst we were staying at the hotel. It was nice how we got champagne for each of our birthdays, and a cake (which was just for mine.. which my boyfriend wasnt happy about :P )

On Arrival i found (head) hairs as well as pubic hairs in my bed when I pulled the covers back, which was quite disgusting considering it was meant to have just been cleaned. We didn't get an apology they just got the maids to change the bed which I thought wasn't right! They also have the same music playing all day and night in the bar area which you can hear from your room. The whole CD must have only had about 6 songs on. (I can never listen to 'maddona- give it to me' again) We also payed 100 euros more for the holiday to have a superior room- which is exactly the same as a standard room!!! the only difference is the view off the balcony- however the balcony was tiny and much smaller than the standard rooms balcony!

Great location, close to the strip and centro. Lots of restaurants, clubs, laundrys, grocery stores and rent a cars. Pool was huge, excellent for swimming. Lots of lounge chairs and close to beach.

This is a fantastic hotel, Food & Room were to a high standard, booked two nights but stayed four nights. Would rate this hotel highly.

Very modern with clean, comfortable rooms. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was quiet and probably not best suited to younger people who want to "party". The location was in easy reach of the excellent beach and local restaurants and shops. The old town is within a short taxi or bus ride.

Very clean hotel, with most of the staff very nice. Facilities around the hotel are good, but the pool area would be fair.

The sun loungers around the pool should be replace as nearly all of them are broken/not very comfortable. Staff were not quick enough to deal with an incident of a man gropping a woman and a daughter and then another woman, he was quite clearly making everyone uncomfortable around the pool area and when it was reported the staff of the restaurant just stood and watched and laughed as he went around learing and groping women. Later that they he was naked in the pool area and again the next day again. It was reported many times and the response took 3 days for something to be done. Quite frankly not good enough for a 4star hotel. Also for some reason they gave the 1/2 of the reception desk overy to some coffee advetisemen, and the other 1/2 appeared then appeared to be the reception. When I approached the woman at this desk, she was just extradinarly rude, words could't describe how rude she was. Turns out she was part receiption to the apartments. What hotel gives the main reception desk over to a coffe stand and then hotel apartments and themselves sit in a tiny corner of the foyer where you would hardly notice them. To clarify the reception staff for the hotel and the cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. The staff for the apartments and the pool/restaurant staff were unprofessional.

From the moment that we arrived and received a lovely check-in service things just got better and better. I loved the design of the check-in area, seated on nice chairs at smart desks with friendly and efficient staff. The room was beautiful. Clean, smart, contemporary, spacious, good sized mini fridge, great air conditioning, lovely spacious bathroom. Dinner buffet was great value and the food varied and tasy. We had seabass on our first night, lovely and plentiful. Breakfast was also lovely and included sparkling wine! Decadent; I loved it. A special mention to a young man name Ludo on the check-in desk. We had a problem with a tour operator and he went above and beyond the call of duty to help us, actually going back to the tour operator with us after his shift was over. He smiled all the time. Thank you Ludo.

Very poor reception area. No public spaces. No bar, other than a moveable one at the pool. a 15 euro charge for access to the internet, even though you stated that it was free.

Comfortable, modern hotel only 300 m away from the shoreline. Goog restaurant, friendly staff, a lot of facilities. If you do not like to stay at the hotel, you may book one of the apartments owned by the hotel.

There is no real internet connection. Declared WiFi does not work properly. If you need a high-speed connection, you have to pay for it extra. I dont think it is a perfect policy for this type of hotels. They should have high-speed WiFi connection included in price. Buffet breakfast is good but the juces. Orange and grapefruit juces are made of subtence of unknown origin. Tomato juce is perfect. It is quite noisy during nights in rooms with town view (garbage lorries, drunck brits and dutchmen and guls). I mean real guls, the birds. They have nests on the nearby roofs, and they cry on different tunes all night long!!! If you shut the balcony door, it would be quiter, but it also becames hot very soon. But do not switch on air condition. First, it is too noisy. Second, it smels like sewer pipe. I do not know why. But its smells. And it smells in the bath-room. Maybe it is a problem with the plumbing. Or maybe it is some sort of construction fault. And the last thing. Do not leave any open bottles with liquids. My wife used to rins her throaght with sea-water, so she brought to bottels of sea water to the room. The next day someone has changed the sea water with the sweet one. For what reason? Who has done it? We have no explanations.

It was in an excellent location right near the strip but not too close to hear any noise from the hotel. Lots of beaches close by with restaurants and somewhere to have a drink. The staff were very friendly giving us a free upgrade because it was our honeymoon. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. Would definitely go back.

It stated it was an adult only hotel but there were kids around in the morning eating breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helpful,breakfasts were excellent,very nice pool area,close to beaches,shopping and transit to Old Town. Would definitely stay there again.

The rooms clean and spacious. There were great views from the room and it was very tranquill.

Sunbeds were not available for use due to patrons reserving beds despite this being against hotel rules. The costs were prohibitive.
