The 2 outdoor swimming pools and location of hotel to town centre made this hotel perfect for our stay. |

Very clean, large room with view on swimming pool, friendly staff (especially Nélia at the reception), free private parking space, free entrance to health club (once a day), welcome drink, Breakfast outside possible, Nice swimming pool area outside, 20 minutes walk to city center, TV with Portugese, English, Italian, Spanish, French (TV5Monde) and Dutch/Belgian (BVN) channels... Inside swimming pool is being managed as a Russian communistic training bath: great for those who like swimlanes but not for "recreative" swimmers. "Games" room is expensive (1euro/game). Too many seagulls at the outside swimming pool. |

Huge new rooms. The apt was more like a suite with a separate bedroom, living room, and nice balcony. Very clean and modern place with a huge pool outside and a fantastic spa inside with another big pool. The free welcome drinks were also very nice! The breakfast was bad, which really surprised us since the hotel is so nice. It would be a good idea if they had a great breakfast, because then people would be more likely to eat at their restaurant. I would suggest having 3 really good things, like great eggs, fruit and potatoes instead of a lot of random things and poorly cooked eggs. |

Have been twice now in two months as standard so high. Lots of attention to small details, makes it feel special. Like individual flowerbeds for each balcony, lots of great accessories in the kitchens which mean proper self-catering is easily feasible. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities super clean and well looked after. The on-going piped music through 'rock speakers' around the pool and lounging area and in areas of the hotel. Would have just liked peace and quiet. Most people now on holiday bring along their own music /entertainment on MP3 players and those who don't may want to enjoy peace and quiet rather than having music forced on them. Felt you couldn't really get away from it. |

Plenty of books to exchange in the hotel's bar/lounge area which was a godsend. Relatively close to everything but pretty quiet. I'm sure pool area would be great in summer. My wife was instructed that two-piece bathing outfits were not allowed in the indoor pool. This is a separate facility which hotel guests get vouchers to. |

All staff were very friendly and helpful There was some work going on around the hotel which put both my girlfriend and I off lying around the pool area. However saying that it is February and they have to do the work sometimes.... not a major complaint. |

A very good hotel with an indoor swimming pool, which is a big plus in winter time. |

Good location, only 10 min walk to either town or beach Would have liked more English TV channels apart from news. Internet was also expensive to use |

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were really nice and friendly. The rooms spotless. It was close to town and the shops. The pools were lovely and clean, and the sauna was great. The food in the restaurant was overly fantastic. And it was expensive too. Better to cook yourself or walk into town. |

Location (short distance to city centre and beach), swimming pool (nice and clean, sufficient number of beds available). Kitchen (electric stove didn't work well), price of breakfast (twice as high as what was mentioned on Booking.com). |

General cleanliness; big rooms with kitchenette for different kinds of meals; proximity to old town centre and beaches; excellent swiming-pool, proximity to restaurants (less expensives than in the centre); Lagos in general. Lagos can be windy, but is one of the most well preserved Algarve towns. If you are looking for hysterical summer parties (like in Albufeira) this is NOT the place. Beaches in the Atlantic coast (Costa Vicentina Area), at 15-20kms, are less exposed to both people and wind. Praia D. Ana (10 mins from hotel) is beautifull but usually crowded. Praia da Rocha (Portimão, 20 kms) is similar and bigger |

The hotel was occupied by a number of nationalities and not dominated by one group of people, which is quite rare. The pool setting was great and absolutely no-one got up at the crack of dawn to place towels on the sunbeds! What a relief. |

Within sight of the marina, this hotel is just a short walk from Lagos’ historic centre and provides guests with luxurious accommodation close to Meia Beach. |
Vila Gale is a brand new, luxury resort right on the Lagos seafront, along the sandy Meia Praia beach, on one of the largest bays in Europe. |
Set on a cliff top, in a site of 285,000 square metres, this private resort was inspired by nature and benefits from its own seafront. |
Located near to Lagos Marina and only 5 minutes from the city centre and the beach, VitaSol Park is composed of several small apartment blocks, with ample green areas and gardens. |
