Studio apartment was very good , clean and well equipped. Breakfast is good and location is quiet, just 15 minutes walk from a wide range of good bars and restaurants. Excellent beaches at Dona Anna, Camilo and Port Mos nearby. |

Walking distance to restaurants (10-15 min), bit far from the beach - best to drive if you have a car, otherwise about 25 minute walk. Nice big clean pool (I guess about 20m and very wide). The pool area is quite nice but the rooms are what I would consider 3 star rating. Very noisy, bring your earplugs or you'll likely be woken up by the neighbours. You can even hear things like a glass being placed on the table next door. Also if your neighbour likes to watch TV late you'll be listening to that too. Wifi costs extra and is very expensive, might be cheaper for you to use 3G if you have a smart phone. Also safety deposit box costs extra 15 a week, no daily rate available. |

It is fairly close to the town centre - approximately 10 min walk. It is definitely not up to the standards that is expected of a 4 star hotel. Firstly, there are some serious issues with cleaniness. 1. We found hair in the bathroom, the floor and on the bed. 2. We weren't sure if the towels have been changed - it had looked like the previous occupants of the room had used it and not replaced. 3. The cushions which were resting on the bed were filthy and I'm not sure why they were there. We had to separately get pillows from the cupboard and again, the pillow cases didn't look washed. Secondly, they could have provided beach towel instead of making people buy them. |

Bright clean accommodation. Quite close to the beach and the centre of Lagos. Travel cot was not very good. However we did not raise this at the time so it might be unfair to mention it as I think they would have offered another if we'd asked. |

The hotel was in a good location with easey access to the town centre or major roads. the hotel staff were very friendly and approachable there is a problem with the sewage system as there was nearly always a smell of sewage in the room, which is probably to costly to put right |

Lovely platter of fresh fruit in our room - not sure if this was because we were booked in as part of our honeymoon trip or if everyone gets the same treatment. Nice touch anyway! Loved that there were two massive outdoor swimming pool, an adult one that you could swim lenghts in and a children's shallow pool. |

First time to the Algarve and I chose this place at it seems to tick a lot of boxes and for a reasonable price. To my relief there was absolutely no catch. The hotel is located 10 mins walk to the spectacular beach Praia D'Ana and it the same distance to the old town of Lagos. Lagos itself is a charming place, it is however plagued by people trying to entice you into bars and restaurants not as much as in Spain but more than elsewhere in Portugal. Rooms come with a nice airy kitchen and although we did use it for anything more than breakfast and snacks it was perfectly functional. |

Free parking... and, unfortunately, that's about it. I have to start by saying that we left the hotel the day after we arrived instead of staying for the 5 days we were hoping for. The buildings were to close to the pool, causing shadows and echo which made it really noisy (lots of families with kids). Our room was at the far end of the hotel, being a long walk from the pool/restaurant and, since it was next to the road, again very noisy every time a car or moped would go uphill. The whole room was dark and old fashioned, not welcoming at all for our taste. We were looking forward for the solarium in the roof but this was also a disapointment since all the sunbeds were next to the noisy air conditioning ventilation for the apartments bellow. Internet: 3€/hour and finally: Not a 4 start hotel. |

The hotel was situated walking distance from the centre of Lagos and our room was spacious and had been recently been redecorated - ample space for a family of 4 and a kitchenette area included. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and well maintained. Would definately recommend it to others. |

I liked the size of the 1 bedroom apartment, there was a large living area which was nice. There was a well equiped modern kitchen with a microwave oven. The reception staff were friendly and the service throughout was very good. I really liked the fact that the staff spoke English, although I do recognise that we should all make efforts to speak the local language too. Internet access was expensive. |

Nice mix of guests, excellent staff, spotlessly clean, No towels on sunbeds( 1 st time ever) ,No rowdy behaviour , Quiet at night.Good restraunts and supermarket within 100m.Approx 10min to everything. Bbc1 & itv1 on tv in room. Food very good. Good Air Con in rooms. Ajoining door between rooms offputting, sometimes could hear persons talking and more! No kettle in kitchenette, nice to have larger tv (portable 15 in) and slightly better shower fittings. |

We really liked everything, especially the size of the accomodations and the whole team's professionalism (receptionists, waiters). In our opinion, Portugal in general, is presenting a very well trained personnel for the touristic activities, which includes efficiency and amability. |

The 4-star Vila Gale is an extremely stylish luxury resort located right on the Lagos seafront, along the sandy Meia Praia beach. |
This charming small hotel, exclusively for couples, is distinguished by its intricate architecture and decoration featuring splendid traditional Portuguese tile panels and paintings. |
The Estrela da Luz resort offers luxurious and spacious apartments in a short walking distance from the beach, the local bars, restaurants and supermarkets. |
Set in the lively coastal town of Lagos in the Algarve, this family-run hotel occupies a central position with spectacular views across the marina. |
