Hotel beautifuly decorated. The garden, the pool and the lounge/bar area are really confortable and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious! The staff was most helpfull and polite. The room with the garden view on the ground floor has a door/wind that allows you to go from the room direct into the garden. It's a peacefull place.

This is a great hotel with a brilliant location. It lays within walking distance from all sights in Evora. The rooms are large and includes a fantastic bath room. The hotel has both a great restaurant, a comfortable bar and all facilities for spa and realxation.

The m'ar De ar Aqueduto is in the perfect location on the edge of the beautiful historic town of Evora. Having their own (underground) car park is a real bonus as many of the hotels in the towns and villages of the Alentejo depend on public car parks. As soon as we entered the car park the bell boy was waiting to take our luggage. This willingness to help was a constant during our four day stay. Our room was spacious, light and airy and above all nice and quiet. They have an oversize golf buggy to transport you to and from restaurants (the bl Lounge is a must) which is very handy if you do not know your way around the 'rabbit warren' of streets in the town. Lazing around the pool is a delightful way to enjoy a warm afternoon and the bar deck is the perfect setting for a pre-dinner drink. The staff are friendly and helpful and we would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

We had dinner one night in their restaurant. The food was O.K. however the ambience and atmosphere in the restaurant is quite dull. The decor is very simple and being in a basement the lack of windows and natural light makes it feel claustrophobic. Breakfast is also a bit uninspiring. Coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms would also be useful.

Beautiful hotel and outstandingly helpful staff

It was absolutely fabulous - not hard to find - staff were friendly; the hotel remarkable - the pool luxurious and outside....we loved everything about your hotel and close walk to tour the city of Evora. Thank you we hope to be back next year!

The design of the hotel was superb and the location was excellent creating an ideal relaxing base to explore the beautiful town of Evora

The bedroom lacked good storage space

This luxury hotel has the location, close to the town center, the fine restaurant, a friendly and helpful staff, a terrific restaurant and convient parking. It made our stay very easy and relaxing.

Loved everything about the m'ar De ar, stunning hotel in a great location. In my opinion it ranks right up there , possibly one of the nicest boutique hotels in Portugal. Will definitely return.

The intervention of modern architecture within and onto an old building doesnt always work. In the case of the MAR De AR Aqueduto hotel it works perfectly.

I didnt think the lighting and floor tiles to the bathroom was up to the standard of the interiors of the rest of the hotel
