Service was great!

Hotel does not have a good sign. Even the locals don't know it is there.

Good breakfast, tidy and big room and good situation.

The day that I was there, they had some problems with wifi connection.

Good value for money. We stayed there because wed had a wedding nearby, so the location was convenient.

Extremly nice hotel crew, although it was a little bit difficult to speak in any other language than portuguese Free underground parking although with a bit inconvenient driveway The view from the window on the main city square

Be careful in the bathroom. The doorknobs are encircled by metallic shells. The edges of the shells are very sharp and you can easily cut yourself. The hotel staff is not always sitting in the reception desk and there is no bell to call them. The only opportunity is to call them is to dial 9 using inner telephone. Their English is quite poor - they doesn't always understand your needs.

It was very central and the hotel offered everything it said it did - free secure parking, buffet breakfast and wifi. I've said in 5 star hotels where the wifi connection didn't work! Well done guys. The room was spacious with a nice view across the square, lots of hanging space, really comfortable double bed, air con worked well, lots of hot water and towels in the bathroom. The reception staff were very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. Spoke English and Portuguese. Great value for money.

Despite the comments below, I would recommend this hotel. I paid 29Euros for two people, including free parking, breakfast and free wifi, great value for money! Often there wasn't a receptionist on the front desk, there is a telephone to call someone and system worked for us, apart from when we wanted to check out, then there was no-one on the front desk and no-one answered our call. The mini bar says to inform staff if there's anything missing - ours was completely empty and I was told that they are all now filled on demand, fine for us as we were able to put our own drinks straight in there. The hairdryer in the bathroom didn't work properly, reception quickly found another one and lent it to us. The bathroom itself was very clean and large but quite old-fashioned, saying that the shower worked extremely well.

Our room smelled musty. When we arrived the window was open, but it was a cold day (and raining) and we had to close it. There was a very strong odour in the bathroom and the wardrobe.

gostei de tudo,fui com a mminha irma e ela tambem adorou,desde as colaboradoras sempre muito presentes a ajudar,e ate o jantar nos iam aquecer e vinham trazer ao quarto,arrumaram as camas e limparam o quarto,pois sei que de duas estrelas não o fazem todos os dias.maravilhoso tudo.

Reserva feita para quarto nao fumadores, e quarto "WC" apresentava cheiro de tabaco. um pouco incomudativo.

Detestei ter uma "clareira" no quarto pela qual entrou luz e me acordou muito cedo. Também se houve imenso o barulho dos outros quartos.

il vaut mieux se garer dans la rue derriere que dans le parking souterrain (place réservées à l'hotel en 5 eme sous sol , avec une mégane break nous devions maneuvrer 3 fois pour tourner à chaque étage.
