Atlantida Mar Hotel  

Everything in the hotel was excellent,including the staff and all amenities.

Clean and perfect equipped rooms, helpful and friendly staff, excellent location at Praia da Vitorias Bay, no need to stay in or near Angra; Jacuzzi, Sauna, Swimming Pool in best condition; Breakfast also perfect; WiFi with continuous and strong signal

Small and quite new hotel directly located at the harbour promenade where you can stroll along in the evening to look for a nice restaurant in the near town of Praia. Very nice designed rooms and suites with kitchenette, with sea view and furnished balconies. Nice pool outside (illuminated at night) and small fitness facilities. Everything is spotlessly clean and of high quality. There is no restaurant but a nice breakfast room. Breakfast is very good - fresh fruit, hot dishes and pastries. But over all remarkable is the staff of this hotel: The girls at the reception are very friendly and helpful (they gave us a wonderful room as we stayed on our wedding anniversary and birthday, lovely decorated for both events), the ladies in the breakfast room and kitchen give you the feeling of being welcome (they opened the breakfast room very early for us the last day of our stay as our flight back was at 8 a.m.) and the room service did a great job as well. As we stayed in November we hadn't much sunshine and therefore it was a special pleasure staying in this welcoming, warm and comforting hotel. We'd love to come back!!

This is absolutely a hotel to return to! It has great facilities for families with small children (playground, safe pool, jaccuzi, and the sauna is really fantastic for any parent who needs to relax). The room/suite was very comfortable, pleasing to the eye (nice color scheme, nice textures, nice beds). It was surprisingly functional too. Good breakfast (plenty of fresh fruit, good decent coffee). The brand new road along the shore (with a convenient exit/entrance to the premises of the hotel) stretches all the way to the village, very pleasant and safe for walks after dinner etc. Beautiful sunrise, and romantic sea-views with distant lighthouses.

We got given a suite with a bathroom that is designed for disabled people, which didn´t really bother us, as the location of the room was ideally on the ground floor next to the garden entrance. But they could have asked whether we minded.

- nice rooms in a new hotel with views on the bay, port and ocean - great pool and jacuzzi - excellent full breakfast - helpful staff - parking facility - Praia da Vitória is a nice little town (it gets really lively during the festivities in the first half of August)

- The best beaches of Praia da Vitória are near the marina, 1 km from the hotel (a 10-15 minute walk). It can be a pleasant walk along the bay though. - after breakfast the hotel offers little catering (there is a supermarket 5 min by car from the hotel; a junior suite has a microwave and a fridge; there is one nice restaurant 5 min walk from the hotel).

The room was wonderful, very clean. The staff was absolutely great. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool and the view was outstanding!! I asked a question about our kids fitting in the pull out couch and got an answer within 15 min. Then when we got there they had the bed already made for us! We brought the wrong European adaptor for our computer and they lent us one. They greeted us with a smile and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was perfect!!

the pool area needs a few more plants for shade and beauty and the mountain room can also mean - parking lot view.

Great staff that was very helpful. Loved the breakfast buffet especially the daily fresh pastries -- apple and chocolate ones were out of this world good. Great view from the balconies. After the third day (of seven day stay) staff started brewing american coffee, without requesting.

Only complaint was the rock hard "European style" beds.

The friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The cleanliness and comfort of the room and facilities. Beautifull pool and pool side. Balcony room overlooking the pool and bay. Serene location close to city.

Hardest bed I ever slept on but my wife loved it. Beautiful shell shaped bathroom sink with high pressure water that sprayed on you when turned on full force. No tissue paper in bathroom for removing makeup or other body cleansing other than toilet tissue.

Location, the view,the comfort and modern design of the hotel and the unexpected and pleasant surprise of breakfast every morning!

The very cordial staff, the convinence and access to the beach, the facility of walking right by the ocean front.

It is a small hotel with big hotel comfort/convenience/service!! The staff was excellent. Very helpful and did all they could to make our trip to the island a wonderful experience! We could not have asked for a better place to stay for the week! We have stayed at a lot of hotels, but this is the first time I am writing a review...they were that good! The room was more than adequate...with a view of the Atlantic...and lots of room for the three of us. Very nice pool area...lots of room for kids to run. The 'playground' is for younger kids...but our 6 year old enjoyed the swings too. Absolutely recommend this hotel...excellent value for the $$

The hot tub could have been hotter...

The staff was very nice. And I got what I was looking for - minimum people, a quiet & nice place.

We had booked a junior suite at a very competitive price, and the room was excellent and spacious, with flat screen TVs in both the bedroom and living area. There was a lovely pool although unfortunately during our stay it was too windy to make much use of it. Although some distance from the main city of Angra do Heroismo it would be easy to walk into the pleasant second town of Praia do Vitoria. Nice breakfast.

The staff was very kind and helpful in many ways. The facilities are very modern and breakfast included in the price was plentyfull. The location of the hotel in front of the sea with direct access to the pedestrian path to the town make it easy to eat in restaurant and visit Praia Da Victoria without a car. We liked Praia for the summerspirit of the town and the people are easy going. The long beach is wonderful although the water was a bit cold at this time of year. We were able to rent a car directly from the hotel and leave it at the airport without problems. We would recommand this place to anyone and hope to go back there sometimes.

However I believe that the location as included on the Booking .com web site.Should include the fact that the hotel is on another island namely Terciera.with no direct flights from the U.K.requiring the purchase of a local flight at a cost of aprox £170.00 for twenty minutes flying time on arrival in Ponta Del Garda..

I loved the location, the views, and the quiet, contemplativeness of this hotel. That is, in addition to the wifi. The staff were all incredibly friendly and lovely, and very accommodating. I really appreciated being somewhere relaxing and peaceful. Atlantida was exactly what I needed.

For non smokers in a country that smokes religiously, the only time I was frustrated was when on any given gorgeous day with the patio door open, smoke from other people smoking on their balconies will come right in.

Do tamanho dos quartos e da decoração. A cama era muito confortável. wi-fi gratis em todo o hotel!! A vista fabulosa para o mar.

Do Pequeno-almoço. Achei-o muito fraquinho. Faltava o sumo de laranja natural e o café feito na hora, em vez de ser tudo de máquina. Ovos sem sabor, enfim, nada de especial.

Tout: chambres remarquement entretenues et équipées (manque quand même un petit réchaud dans la kitchenette). Le luxe est dans les chambres et non dans l'entrée comme c'est parfois le cas dans cette catégorie d'hôtel.

on se sent tellement bien dans les chambres que l'on regrette qu'il n'y ait pas un room-service qui puisse vous y apporter des repas !
