The staff was wonderful. The bathrooms were very clean. Rooms were lovely. The choice of foods at breakfast was quite good. The location was very convenient. The hotel itself is very beautiful. The beds were horrible...they were palates with a mattress, very hard, small, and squeaky and the carpeting looked dirty. |

The hotel has an athentic atmosphere.The rooms are cosey, but the facilities are limited: very small TV without movies, no internet. Breakfast was excellent in beautiful dining room. Low level of facilities |

The hotel itself: location - one of very few hotels in the city centre proper, bar + spa, very classy, very elegant and luxurious feel, great interiors, fittings appeared original/authentic (unlike some hotels of this age/price), large room with view (as requested), amazing decor in the breakfast hall/room. Staff: very helpful, attendant yet not in-your-face. Affordable luxury. Recommended!! Some noise from idiot kids in the room next door (due to adjoining door linking rooms). However, if we'd bothered complaining I think they would have probably done something for us.... |

Central location, nice bath amenities not good enough breakfast for a 5 star hotel. carpet floor old and bit of dirty and generally there was a smell of old. |

The building with this particular flair of a palace, decoration, furniture, all details; I appreciate the Non Smoking policy and friendly/helpful staff; I did like champagne for breakfast and the assortment of food for breakfast; Last not least I did like the nice smell of bed linens, towels, etc.; I enjoyed being greeted with fruits and the nice setting with bowls of water, plates, etc. |

The room was lovely! High ceiling, good fursnitures,it makes me feel “belle epoque”atomoaphere.And of course its location was excellent. Hotel staffs were less professional such as I had expected as a five-star-hotel.One day my room was not cleaned until two o'clock! And sometimes I had much more information about local tranportation than the concierge.But,of course,they are a little fault.I was satiafied with staying there. |

Excellent Location! Recommend it to anybody. A bit poor beds for married couple, but overall experience was good! Only non-somking rooms is minus for me personally. And don't trust the presonnel recommendations for restorants. They're recommendations are good, but probably you expect some more. |

Die Rezeptionisten waren einfach super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, ruhig nach hinten und sauber. Das Hotel liegt perfekt für Städte-Tour und mitten im Zentrum am Rossio. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. |

Foram maravilhosos os dias passados no Avenida Palace! Desde a entrada do Hotel, já se respira uma atmosfera de sonho, pela magníficência e grande beleza dos ambientes. O Hotel é um monumento histórico, perfeitamente adaptado à modernidade. Além de tudo, também o serviço do Hotel é perfeito, desde os funcionários da recepção até as camareiras. Adorei o Avenida Palace!!! |
