I appreciated the helpful staff, that the hotel was clean and well kept, and the location was a definite bonus. |

Friendly staff and helpful. Close to the country side and great beaches along the coast. Sintra a great drive about 1 hr away. View from balcony to the harbour and small beach very attractive. The road surface of cobbles made some noise intrusion from traffic if you had the doors open. No fresh fruit at breakfast |

The location is excellent, a few feet away from the harbour at Cascais. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, but there could have been a greater variety of fresh fruit. The terrace at ground floor level was a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food was good. |

We had a most enjoyable stay at the Hotel Baia, the staff were friendly and helpful the location is perfect and the breakfast was very nice. We were in the lovely rooms at the front of the hotel but unfortunately at night it got quite noisy with local teenagers gathering there till all hours of the morning. |

Loved the location and the sea views from the balcony, the tables at the front of the hotel and from the rooftop pool terrace - also liked having free internet access although would have liked this to be throughout the hotel and not restricted to ground floor. The breakfast could be improved with more fresh fruit and proper juice - also as avove internet reception could be extended throughout the whole hotel. |

Located in front of the beach and close to streets for shopping and dining. I was annoyed by one guy at the reception, although the others were nice and friendly. I reserved a "sea-view room", but I couldn't see it from the room on 1st level because of the tents built for some events for the coming weekend. I asked the reception to change the room, but the guy said immediately "No we can't", without checing the detail of my reservation. As I learned that the tents had been under construction for a few days and the hotel staff must have seen them and imagined they might bother the views from some rooms, I came back and asked again the same guy. He was hesitant but gave me a room on upper floor, asking me to bring the small towel I had already used in the first room to the new room. Quite dissapointing service. |

The location and the view from the balcony. We did not like the buffet breakfast- thought it was one of the worst we've had! No real choice- poor selection and the coffee was cold!Didn't have dinner so can't comment on that. Would recommend the hotel because of its location but not for the food that we had. A little traffic noise but as it is on a main road that is to be expected. |

Our first visit to Portugal. Hotel staff very helpful & service of bedrooms faultless. Restaurant/grill reasonably priced with pleasant outside verandah Nice flat walking for older people or disabled. Lovely views of the sea & harbour. A very pleasant & clean resort to stay. |

Overall I found the hotel to be ok. The location, view, furnishings, swimming pool were all good. The rates, food in restaurant were ok. The majority of the staff were quite unfriendly & unhelpful (excluding half of the reception staff who were very friendly & helpful). Half of the reception staff were not approachable & appeared to act as security men rather than reception staff by just glaring at people going in & out. The waiting staff in the restaurant were not friendly at all & dealt with people as being a chore rather than providing a service. This was particularly evident at breakfast time (which was included in the rate) when the staff just stared at people rather than completing their job. Also the selection for breakfast & the bed & pillows were not great. |

Overlooking the sea, this hotel is only a few metres from the renowned Cascais Marina and offers good value for money. |
Just a short drive from Lisbon and the beach, located in one of the city's commercial districts, this ultra-modern hotel is part of one of Portugal's main business parks. |
With a magnificent view over the Atlantic Ocean, this hotel is ideally located for a walk on the beach, a golf match or a visit to the famous Estoril Casino. |
The 4-star Vila Bicuda Villas Resort has a great location on the Golf Coast, in the middle of Sintra/Cascais Natural Park. The resort offers self-catering studios and villas. |
