Balaia Golf Village  

The nearness of the pools to the rooms and the fact the rooms were cleaned nearly everyday

Our apartment was by the road side and the traffic was very loud at night. Also it was abit far to the beach.

The grounds were very lovely; pool area well maintained. Our suite was very functional and suited our needs. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped. The hotel is situated close to beaches. Very quiet...relaxing.

The housekeeping was somewhat less than desirable. I didn't feel that they did a very good clean up upon check in--it certainly wasn't dirty by any means, but not pristine either. However, one day towels were not changed and I went to the front desk to tell them (no phones in the room to contact front desk) and someone showed up immediately to provide fresh towels.

Well kept facilities in attracative grounds. Staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Very well maintained grounds with excellent pool and golf facilities. The accommodation was spacious and very clean and well equipped. The location was really good with easy access to shops and restaurants. The staff were all extremely friendly especially in the gym and reception area.

The peace and quiet and the lovely feeling of the woodlands around and the excellent kept garden and shrubs. I love the feeling of being secure and not having loud music playing on the complex. It has all the qualities you require for a relaxing holiday while at the same time being near to all the activity of the old and new town if you so wish.

Had a lovely stay at Balaia, staff were very helpful apartments were very clean .Couldnt have asked for more.

The restaurant was excellent, the houses was beautiful, the apartment big enough and the parking place just outside the door. A good place for everyone.

Could have done with more cleaning up detergents to get started with. A hassle to go to supermarket and nearby supermarket not very big. Noisy near the road. Cannot have shower, cook and put washing machine on at the same time - Blew the power. Restaurant very slow to serve food

Very nice apartments - good location - many activities - even though it is a big complex, the design of the village meant (buildings, pools etc), that it was not negative. Very clean, very good standard and very nice staff. Our family fealt, that this was our best vacation in Southern Europe.

It is a very spacious and relaxing holiday village with plenty of pools and a kids area for young kids. All round very nice friendly plce for young families. Reception staff very nice and helpful, on arrival they moved us to a place closer to playground and kids pool which was great for our family.

The only thing I could comment on was the main restaurant beside reception, I did not find eating there pleasant and did not feel they catered for children. In addition on one night we paid €18 per person for a buffet (sunday evenings) the food was nice if a bit bland but as we had already fed our kids in our apartment we were happy to let them play as we ate, the frsutrating thing was the restaurant staff hovering around our table expecting us to feed our kids and avoid the €9 charge per child! Like I said at start this was the only negative critisism I could make a comment on.

Balaia golf village is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The 6 pools are really nice as is the golf course. Taxis to surrounding areas are very cheap - for a taxi of 5 it was only €5 to Albuferia and €4 to the strip in Oura. We stayed in a superior two bed appartment which was very nice, spacious and clean.

Balaia golf village does not provide any entertainment so it is a must to travel for evening entertainment.

I loved the peace and quiet, the grounds are green & lush, the pools spotless and the smaller pools quiet. The accomadation was spotless and large, lovely views across the golf course. Staff wer very friendly and helpful. all in all great value for money. a lovely relaxing week, would highly recommend Balaia.
