Location was perfect

The hotel is located in the heart of Albufeira with clubs, restaurants, pubs and shops right at the door-step. The beach is also very close by. Rooms were very basic, but comfortable and clean.

Perfect position in centre of Old Town Albufeira. We have stayed in various hotels and pensions in Albuferia in the past, but have chosen the Baltum for the last three times.

The hand held shower. It seems some hotels feel this type of shower can save water, but it it would be quicker and more comfortable to have a fitting that the shower head can be attatched to.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean, fresh towels every day,

Room was too small, not at all suitable for twin beds, no space for two people to move about, even our suitcases, were in the way, having no fridge was a big minus,and worst of all was the noise from the surrounding bars,and the screaming and shouting from street untill 4 or 4.30 in morning, I could not recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quite ,relaxing, restful holiday,

the all stay was very good. Room was cleaned every day:)

The air condition beside our window was making a big noise !

Hotel in general was welcoming and clean. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Good English spoken which was great for me. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel so I can't comment on food. My room was disappointing. I was a room with double bed. Very small and would not be suitable for 2people. It was a dark room little sunlight coming in. And my view from room was what looked like emergency stairs in case of fire. I didn't like spending much time in my room. Thankfully had family in apartments around the corner. I did get a quick look at a triple room which looked nice plenty of room and sunlight and clean.

As long as you accept that the location is near the bars area and can expect a few noisy nights from below, the hotel is central, has interesting views over the town and is very handy for the taxi rank and escalator. We enjoyed our holiday.

We have stayed here before and will return again, the staff are great, the location is outstanding and it is so close to everything on offer in Albufeira

A great location, no hills to walk up. In walking distance of everything, Breakfast very basic but fresh. Staff where friendly enough. Good safe location for single traveller, very clean. Drawback - Take your earplugs if you are the type to go the bed early. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel which makes it very noisy until around 4.30am. Apart from that, nothing to complain about at all. Good value for money.

Its location to beach, bars and restaurants, as I am a solo female traveler.

The bedroom that I always get is poor compared to the other rooms. I think solo travelers always get poor value for money. Im always looking at a fire escape and the room needs a refurb compared to other rooma in the hotel. But I feel safe here so that is why I keep going back.

Cleanliness throughout hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly. Central location to all amenities and facilities of old town.

Hotel in wonderful location - beside shops, bars, restaurants and Beach. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast room also very clean and food was good.

It was a great stay in Albufeira! The hotel Baltum is very good place for short-time stay for people who don't plan to sleep and stay in the room only! The room was small but enough spacious, quiet and clean. The staff was always smiling and helpful. I definitely recommend hotel Baltum!

A localização é muito boa, permite sem se deslocar-mos de carro conhecer uma das melhores partes de Albufeira, praia, vida noturna, passeio, restauração. Resumindo, tem tudo á mão, para passar um/uns dias agradáveis.

Falta um estacionamento, visto o que está próximo ter uns preços altos.

Nach der ersten Nacht reklamierten wir wegen des schrecklich lauten, ohrenbetäubenden Lärms von der Strasse her ("Ballermanstreet") und auch im Hotel (von betrunken singenden, am frühen Morgen heimkehrenden, gröhlenden Gästen). An der Rezeption vermittelte eine nette Dame uns dann umgehend ein anderes, grösseres Zimmer. Leider jedoch auch mit Sicht und Hörrichtung zur "Ramba-Zamba-Strasse".

Das Personal mit Ausnahme der Damen an der Rezeption war höchst unfreundlich, Grüsse wurden kaum erwiedert. Das erste Zimmer war die letzte Absteige: klein, schmutzig, wenig Frottewäsche, Abfluss in der kleinen Badewanne war verrostet. Beide Zimmer, die wir hatten, waren schlecht isoliert: alle 4 Nächte schliefen wir schlecht. Sobald der Ballermanlärm aufhörte, fuhren bei Tagesdämmerung die Müllcamions vor, um die Berge von Abfall zu entsorgen oder die Markthändler schlugen mit Metallstangen beim Aufstellen der Stände herum. Lärm - rund um die Nacht und bis in den Vormittag hinein! Da gibt's nur eins - und der Name des Hotels trägt dafür das Leitmotiv: Hoffentlich ist der Urlaub "bald um" im Baltum.
