Amazing choice of excellent restaurants

Location great, close to the beach and easy access to town. Quiet, friendly staff.

Evening meals. We ate twice at the restaurant but the menu and food is simple and we couldn't have eaten there again.

We didnt get the pool view room that was booked. Overall good hotel but didnt deliver what was promised on booking.

The location was excellent. Quick walk to the beach. The restaurant served quality food. The spa personnel were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Spa treatment was wonderful.

The front desk could use a little education on customer service. We felt they were a little short with us when asking questions or requesting service. We often felt "forgotten" by the restaurant staff, especially during breakfast.

Luxury apartments, staff very friendly, very close to beach - loved it and will go back

- Rooms were excellent and were very good value for money. Was great having a studio where we had facilities to make our own food. - Plenty to do at the hotel. Good spa facilities and not too busy when we went. - Hotel restaurant was very good and not expensive.

- The only thing that wasn't ideal was our shower which leaked onto the floor every time we used it. Other than that I have no complaints.

Liked the room and lots of extras utilities that came in handy like fridge, cooker, smoothie maker.

Not able to get an appointment at the spa as they were always booked. Hardly any of the jets in the Hydropool worked was just a pool really.

A beautiful, new hotel right next to a great beach (no more than 2 mins walk) and about 20 mins walk into the old town centre oLagos (or 5 mins by car). We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed everthing about our stay: friendly staff, lovely infinity pool (as well as other, smaller pools), nice spa, breakfast was amazing (lots of fresh fruit, lovely pastries, great coffee and eggs cooked to order), the rooms/apartments are very spacious and exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and nice sea views from the balcony.

Everything was great! If we could change one thing it would be to make access to the larger pool easier, when the spa is closed (as you have to walk around the building to get to the pool then).

I thought the hotel was excellent and as we live only 1 1/2 hours drive away we will definitely be back.

Our only problem was the television did not work however the staff were excellent and fixed it promptly. When we went to bed the blind would not come down therefore my sleep was disturbed as I wake up as soon as the light comes in, so a problem for me. I informed the reception on checkout.

A lovely hotel with Spa and two outside pools (though too cold at Easter to venture in). Staff were excellent, we left a camera in the room, they found it for us and returned it to the UK at no cost to us. Great restaurant at fabulous prices - but basic menu

Although this is very close to the beach it is far from anywhere elese. A couple of beach restaurants, other than that for the local supermarkets and shops it is a looong walk. Fine if you have a car

Everything about the hotel was fab. It is in a cracking spot with brilliant views. I will be going again.

The excellent location, the fully equipped room and the spa. Staff very helpful, food good. It was very peaceful with lovely gardens. Very relaxing

The outdoor pools looked fantastic, but are not heated, so you can't use them outside of the hottest summer. Another gust complained because children can't use the spa pool, so they couldn't swim anywhere

The staff was wonderful, the room was gorgeous, the kids loved swimming in the indoor pool.

There was not a coffee maker in the apartment.

We enjoyed the sauna and pool. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Location and food at the restaurant.

We did not like the fact that the 2 bed apt was only cleaned once a week! Also the kitchen smelled of eggs when we first checked in. The entrance to the the apartments through the parking lot was a bit boring and not what we were expecting from a spa/beach resort. Steam room was not functional and although there was a small board at the reception stating that we should ask for them to be switched on this should be made clearer. Also, massage facilities were shut on Easter Sunday and again we were not given this info when we checked-in!

the entire resort was beautiful and the location was right on the beach. the staff was very friendly and helpful.

the service is very slow at the restaurant, but we didn't even mind because we were just enjoying the great view.

Wow! Had a 2 bedroom suite viewing sea which was spacious, beautiful and had nice balcony. Indoor pool, multiple outdoor pools, gym, sauna and turkish bath. Lovely staff. Wish we could return in season. Lagos has nice restaurants & cool beaches.

The rooms, the huge bed, the balcony, the view. The fact that the kitchen area was very well fitted out, dishwasher, washing machine.

The indoor pool could have been warmer. A very noisy pool due to the low ceiling. Also very sparse looking.

Location, staff, views, proximity of the town and the beach is at your doorstep. The apartments are beautiful with self catering facilities. The spa is fabulous. The staff were all extremely helpful and knowledgeable . I will definitely be back. Enjoyed my morning beach and cliff walks.

gorgeous decor, spa wonderful, staff excellent, excellent value

Everything about the stay was fantastic..We stayed at As Cascatas in Vilamoura after the stay here and we all agreed that his was by far the better hotel and resort. The room was excellent overlooking one of the pools, the bar although quiet had an extremely reasonable happy hour, free WIFI (essential for teenagers). The gym and internal pool and free spa was great. A short walk to the beach and antonios restaurant and snack bar which was very reasonabe with great service and a great view over the beach ( dont go to the restaurant as that was COMPLETELY the OPPOSITE). It was a 5Euro taxi into town where there were a plethora of good restaurants very reasonably priced we ate in 3 different ones and have to say they were all great.

It rained for one day...LOL

The pools and it was walking distance to Praia Porto de Mos the beach.

Indoor pool water could have been a little warmer

The room was clean and relatively spacious. The apartment kitchen was well equipped.

The hotel is a typical touristy monster of the kind that have mushroomed all over many holiday resorts around the world. Of its kind, however, it still stands out through its cleanliness and good location close to a nice beach. There were two things I really didn't appreciate: the breakfast (as simple as can be, anything extra you may want you have to pay for) and the reception staff - they were on the whole unfriendly and I had the feeling I was interrupting their otherwise wonderful day. The truly annoying thing is the deposit one has to pay: 250 euros with the choice between leaving them hard cash (which you're given back on departure) and leaving them your credit card number (which is no surprise) and... (and here's the tricky bit!) the three-digit security number, which practically leaves your bank account at the mercy of the hotel's security services for all the numbers are kept on paper. I have no idea whether the hotel guarantees to keep the numbers secure, I preferred not to find oput the hard way. I left them cash which lay idly in their drawers until my departure. Silly, silly, silly.

The presentation and design of the buildings the charming check in staff, the fantastic apartment the numerous facilities the food in the restaurant, both lunch and evening meal.
