The male team in the evening is rather aloof . The breakfast is of wuantity but poor quality if one likes healthy food. Cheap white bread, cheapest cheese i cannot eat cow milk cheese, when I asked for it, I was just told, they dont have any...cheapest packets of marmelade and honey, the usual tetrapack grey looking scrambled eggs, unhealthy bacon . The room has a capsule coffee machine...great for coffee drinkers, but a kettle for tea would have been nice. I dont like it, when I cannot switch of the TV and it remains all night on standby..bad for the guest, bad for the environment...in2015 we should all think sustainable!
Very central hotel, allowing easy access to most areas of interest in the city. Clean and comfortable.
Having been in the city for business I couldn't exactly appreciate the hotel, but the experience was good. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and I liked the fact that there was a small but appropriate working area with good lighting. Great variety for breakfast and decent quality - the orange juice was real, although somewhat bitter. The subterranean parking is a nice feature in this area of the city.
Exaggerated daily price for the parking, 9€/day. I'm used to pay that value if I'm not a hotel guest, but guests normally get a lower price.
Very confortable room. I have been upgraded from a business to a suite room
We had a nice weekend in this design hotel near the center of Porto. I was hesitating to book this one but it really worth it! The breakfast was delicious and we loved the terrace of the room with incredible views to the city. The free wifi was very useful and the people of the hotel kindly helped us to know what to visit in the city. We will definitely come back!
Good half way point for marathon, next to the bus stop to get downtown, very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast was a little expensive but they had a lot of good food
I was travelling with my 3yrs old son and arrived around 11am for check-in. The receptionist told me to come back at 2pm to enter the room, wich is normal. So i spent some time at the beach and came back almost at 3pm. Then they told me my room was not ready and that i had to wait. My son was tired and after a long trip i just wanted to take a shower and rest. I waited 15 minutes and insisted again, they told me the room was ready, but when i arrived the cleaning service was still in the room and it was obvious they didn't finished, dirty floor (hair and dead fly...), the terrasse was wet like someone let a bottle of drink fall down. As i complained, the receptionist told me this was normal, no discount or no excuses!!! This is not a 4 star hotel service for sure. Will never come back again.
Close to Airport Private parking (€7) Nice breakfast
This is to me clearly a business hotel. It is perfect for this need. The staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are large and comfortable. No complaints
Good size of room. Selection of TV channels.
The gym is tiny and in the basement with no windows!
I enjoyed the room , food at the bar and friendly staff
The staff were super helpful, friendly and provided great service. The location would have been perfect if the main road wasn't under construction. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, modern.
Decor, balcony, dinner, bar.
Nothing to dislike.
The food at the restaurant was delicious.
The additional charge for use of the gym which is tiny. It's only 4 euro but could technically be added into the price of the room.
Room size. WiFi Breakfast
Having to pay to use the gym Having to pay for ice in the room when taking a drink from the minibar
excellent breakfast, nice staff, good value for money
rooms with double bed have only little windows fitness room without any window access of the parking is not easy, difficult to drive out in one way
Silence at night
Nothing at all
The hotel itself was lovely and facilities were good. Rooms were great and very clean. The lunchtime set meal was very good value.
I was surprised that having paid for a suite in a 4*hotel use of the gym was not included, although this was not mentioned anywhere in the information. Then, to discover that you had to pay 18 euros to use it for 1 hour each day...totally excessive. Also the hotel is not near to anything, so it is taxi rides or long walks even to the nearest restaurant.
Modern, clean rooms. Bar to have a snack and a drink. On-site parking (but 9€/day). Close to motorways for easy access to and from the hotel.
For a 4 star hotel and seemingly catering for international business clients, the receptionist's English wasn't very good. They charged me for the mini bar which we didn't use. Despite telling them that the bill was wrong it still ended up on my card. Still waiting for a response and refund from them on that.
Good location if you travelling by car – main roads in/out Porto are just in 1-2 minutes. Free parking next to the hotel. Don't buy parking via booking.com — at the desk it cost 7€/day instead of 9€/day here.
Wifi and TV restarted every 15-20 minutes and then I called to the desk nobody came to fix it. Breakfast was the same for all 5 nights we stayed. Not that much bad, but nothing special, definitely not for a 4-star hotel in EU (kind of 3-star hotel). Try to pay by cash/in advanced or hold in mind, that they will book full stay sum and then you will need to pay full sum with additions (room-service etc.) while first reserved sum stays for 2-5 workdays. There is no gym like most of people know it. "Gym" in a hotel is a 3 cardio machines and 1 multiblock. No free weights, dumbbells etc. for 4€/hour.
The room--we were upgraded to a suite--was modern, well-kept, clean, and came with an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. Lots of cabinet and storage space for longer-term stays.
the room is very comfortable, big TV is nice
staffs in the reception are helpful, but not everyone is very nice, compare to the other hotels， the staffs still need to improve. The wifi just so poor, i was watching Youtube， internet stopped working so many times
Modern, clean rooms and reception areas. Nice shower, large comfortabel bed and loads of TV channels.
The air conditioning in our room didn't seem to work properly. Sometimes it was freezing, other times it seemed to be heating the room. Taps in the bathroom weren't very clean.
Hotel looks new. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is not reach in decoration but I did not really miss it.
It is a bit far from down town.
Very comfortable bed Friendly & efficient staff A good breakfast Free wifi
