Best Western Hotel D. Luís

Quite an old building and facilities, but all in all it was quite alright. The view from the Hotel towards Coimbra is perfect!

Baby cot was not at the room as I had previously requested by e-mail. Anyway it was brought after 1 or 2 hours.

The hotel is generally nice. The attention was very good. The rooms are small and simple, but clean, and there is free internet access. Ours had a nice view of Coimbra. The restaurant is good.

When we arrived, there was an overwhelming smell of some kind of disinfectant spray. You need a car to get to Coimbra from this hotel. The hotel was a little bit noisy, at night we could hear the people in the hall and when someone in another room flushed the toilet.

Very well located, beautiful view of the city, but need a car. Parking great, internet also good and breakfast OK.

All the kitchen devices you would like (oven, microwave, dishwasher, ...) and the room was very nice with high ceilings.

Internet did not work on arrival, there where already some reviews about this and the acting manager told us the previous guest also complained but he tried to blame it on Vista. After I insisted they fixed it by resetting the router and installed a new access point the day after. Bad neighborhood to park your car (we had a break-in), no parking available. Hard to find, make sure to note the address, there is no sign. Fuse couldn't handle the kitchen equipment (cooking and boiling water)

The room (4th floor) had outstanding views over Coimbra , there were tea/coffee making facilities and ample soaps etc in bathroom.The room seemed well soundproofed, we had an excellent nights sleep.The buffet breakfast (included in the price) provided a good choice between healthy and fill yourself up with bacon and eggs.It is an interesting 15 minute walk to town centre, a bit steep on the way back !

The only disappointment was the noisy air conditionig unit, which we had to turn off, fortunately the temperature was cooler than normal for the time of year.

El trato con el personal de recepción. El desayuno buffet, muy bien ya que era muy variado. El detalle de la persona encargada del comedor, que nos ofrecio el postre de Navidad allí ( en España, el postre que se ofrece en Semana Sta "Torrijas ")

El servicio del bar nos remitía a contactar con recepción para que nos atendieran. El estar en el bar era muy confortable, pero nos sentimos un poco desatendidos, siempre a la "caza" del camarero.

quando se chega oa hotel o pessoal da recepção é muito prestável. os quartos são limpos e agradáveis. de manhã o pequeno almoço é muito bom.

ao jantar atenção.... ou se vai de gravata e muito bem composto e tem-se um bom atendimento por parte do chefe de sala ou se se vai de calças de ganga como fui.... o chefe de sala além de rude e pouco prestável votou-me ao esquecimento tendo sido necessário chamar por diversas vezes para ser atendido nos meus pedidos. muito mau de deselegante!!!!!!

Gostei do pequeno almoço, da localização e a atenção dos funcionários.

O cheiro a mofo no corredor do 4º piso e um vizinho barulhento às 3 horas da madrugada.

Vista panorâmica.

Quarto para as traseiras, sem a vista para a cidade. Barulho do frigorífico no quarto. Barulho de outros clientes durante a noite.

Antiguidade das instalações (sanitárias e quartos).

Da simpatia dos empregados do restaurante e do bom atendimento do mesmos . De realçar que para um hotel de 3 estrelas os preços do menu era talvez exagerado ,embora diga-se em abono da verdade que temos o serviço à carta ,m,mas mesmo assim !!!

O quarto era pouco espaçoso ,a casa de banho embora com o essencial tinha um aspecto de velho ,o que se lamenta ,não espero um luxo mas espero algo com visual agradável. Dizer que s etem net em todo o hotel até é capaz de ser verdade ,mas só apanhei fora do quarto sem chatisses e no quarto duas vezes em 4 dias nem foi mau !!! Depois estive num quarto com uma vista pavorosa ,dava para as traseiras do hotel ....
