Besides location, there is nothing special about this hotel. Room decoration and facilities are very poor. If you expect luxury surroundings, you had better look for other hotels. I stayed at room #218 and I could not find a TV remote controller. (nor BBC, CNN channels) Rooms are huge (maybe some of them or only my room?) but no decoration--only white walls without a picture. Honeymooners wer complaining about their room as they needed more cozy/romantic surroundings. One of the windows was a sort of out of order, so you may need 'a skill' to close/open it. You may not be able to drink/eat in your room as there is no mini bar/fridge. Security box costs 1.5 euro/da |

Hotel was very central with good links to trams, buses and the metro. Also good for restaurants and cafe's Room was a bit sparse with no pictures on walls or tea/coffee facilities and bathroom definitely was in need of decoration. Hotel was fine but did not have additional rooms/Bar open. |

Unusually large rooms. Location on Rua Garrett right next to Metro station. Sewer smell in hallways. Rooms sparsely furnished. Elevators lack an inner safety door. No bar in hotel. Breakfast was rudimentary. |

It was very conveniently located right in front of metro and a short distance to the train station. Lively and shops close by. The TV was very basic with no extra channels and no remote. |

The personnel were very pleasant and helpful. The linen was clean. The room was very large. Right by the Chiado metro station, so this is the only reason I would recommend this hotel, which is also relatively cheap! The smell in the hotel and room. It was like an old, moldy smell, sometimes bordering a sewer stink. The showerhead did not stay up in its holder. The TV did not work. |

Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicación privilegiada en pleno Barrio Alto de Lisboa, en el Chiado encima del cafe Brasileira. Cuando llegamos al Hotel encontramos la habitacion sin una limpieza a fondo, botella de cerveza vacia, un pincel para perfilar los labios...nos propusieron cambiar de habitación. |

A excelente localização do Hotel. Os comandos da televisão e do ar condicionado, terem de ser requesitados na recepção do Hotel. O pessoal do hotel ausentar-se do seu posto durante a madrugada e as pessoas terem de ficar á espera na rua. |

Het Hotel Borges is in het centrum van Lissabon en vervoer zoals metro, tram en bus-haltes zijn op korte afstand van het hotel. Veel winkels en restaurants op loopafstand te bereiken. Naast het Hotel bekende brons beeld van de Portugeese dichter Fernando Pessoa en koffiebar El Brasileiro. |
