Raquel on the front desk was amazinly helpful, understanding, funny and insightful. The port in the afternoon and evening. The quietness of both the street and the hotel.

The eggs and bacon and coffee in the morning were often cold.

The unspoiled Art Deco style of the place, including attention to detail (e.g., bakelite napkin rings!). Fanstastic breakfasts. Free wifi, including printing availability.

Not much to report here. The fact that it rained some of the time.

Hotel was excellent right from the start we were made to feel welcome. All staff from check-in to restaurant and room cleaning were friendly and professional. The rooms are large and comfortable with well equipt bathrooms and toiletries. The breakfasts were good as was the afternoon tea. Both port and Ginjinha, a local liquor, were available all day in the library. A lovely, quiet and relaxing place to stay. We could not recommend it more highly.

No complaints at all on this hotel...it fully deserves its top ranking!

We had a very pleasant stay at hotel Britania. The room was very comfortable and clean. Every afternoon the hotel put on afternoon tea free of charge, which consisted of yummy portugese tarts and port/ginjinha, which was great!

The hotel provided free wifi internet. However, the connection was not that strong and would sometimes log out.

We were in the Britania for 6 nights. We loved the hotel. As a small footnote to our remarks, we would like to point out that we found the hotel's breakfast to be very good, but also a little repetitive. Perhaps the hotel could vary the breakfast menu a bit more.

Very good and friendly staff and very clean. decor classic 1940´s. All fittings original and in working order. Best hotel we have stayed in ever.

The service of the staff, exceptional they couldn't do enough for you and comfort of the rooms.

A little further out from the centre than I would originally have thought. But the walk into the centre was only about 5/10mins.

The staff are the most important factor, they were really friendly and gave excellent service especially the guy who served the afternoon tea and was around in the evening. The room was very well furnished and designed and very clean. Breakfast was very good, afternoon tea and complimentary port and jinhia was a bonus. Well done to all.

Petit déjeuner inacceptable pour un hôtel de ce standing. Aucune valorisation des produit locaux et surtout tous les produits semblent issus de supermarché, thé de mauvaise qualité en sachant que le Portugal produit un thé excellent aux Açores. Prix prohibitif pour un petit déjeuner aussi quelconque.

L'Hotel è un vero capolavoro Art Deco, non c'è particolare che non sia perfettamente curato ed in stile, senza dare sensazioni di vecchio o "impolverato". Atmosfera meravigliosa e connessione WiFi perfetta. Cortesia. Il bollitore con caffè e tisane in camera sorpresa gradita.

Non trovo difetti, in relazione al nostro soggiorno: tutto è stato confortevole ed efficiente.

Hotel Britania è una struttura molto particolare, per chi ama soggiornare in un posto un pò retrò. Le camere sono veramente spaziose e ci si sente subito a proprio agio. La posizione del hotel è ideale per vistare Lisbona, perchè si sta molto vicini al centro, ma comunque in uns strada secondaria e abbastanza silenziosa. Il personale è molto gentile e a chi piace fare una colazione abbondante il buffet offre tante delizie.
