Cabanas Beach Self Catering Apartments  

The apartment was spacious and clean, within a short walk of Cabanas promenade.

Management rather inept. Air conditioning was not working and it was 40 degrees. We suffered the first night with just a fan which was useless against such high temperatures. Little or no attempt was made to rectify this and with small children we felt it was better to find somewhere else to stay, as complex was fully booked. Very inconvenient for us. On attempting to process a refund, we were billed twice for our stay as management did not know how to work the credit card machine. We came back a few days later hoping that we could complete the refund and this time the machine didn't have any money on it!! So we had to go back several hours later when the refund finally took place. I must add that the reception room was full of holidaymakers attempting to check in only to be told to come back in 2 hours as previous tennants had left the place in a dreadful mess. We heard this story used quite a few times when we were at the office!!!

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is very well located. Everything was working properly.

The beds were bad, and the sofa in the dinning room is absolutely horrible.

New apartments. The location is rather good as for Cabanas. Air conditioners are well-fixed, so there is no discomfort. Underground parking.

The absenсe of high-quality management. The additional bed, we asked for, was brought after 4 days of waiting. The fridge didn't function for the whole period of stay. We were promised every day that the Internet would be fixed, but we didn't get it. At night there was an attempt to break into our apartment, doors were broken out at the terrace. The swimming-pool is very small. There are lots of mosquitos. The absence of hangers for towels and cloths in the bathroom and the corridor. The rest was very specific one!!!

Only 1 TV chanell (language from Nordic countries). Red ants invasion. Extra bed was broken (impossible to fix), so my son slept 6 of 9 nights on the floor. Smelt from air conditioner. No reply from rentals management.

The apartment was spacious and has air conditioning. Lots of towels (which is good in a beach vacation). The apartment complex has nice commodities like private underground parking, free wifi and the pool. The fact that they accept pets is really nice (but not enough to make me come back, unfortunately).

Poor customer service - hard to get calls answered, no answer to emails.No info in portuguese, only one portuguese speaker employee (barely). The only phone number shown online is Spanish (why?!). The access to the apartments is only made by a dirt "road" with no lights (it's scary). The sofa bed is inappropriate for people older than 10 (which was us), as it is terribly uncomfortable and hard to sleep. No supplies (1 incomplete toilet paper roll to 4 pax for 4 days is hardly enough (if these stuff are to be brought by guests, there should be a warning). Small glitches not taken care of - tv doesn't work at all; garage remote control only fixed the day before we left; key set did not include pool patio door (so you had to go all way around to go back inside...).

The apartment was very new, clean, modern air conditioned and fairly well equipped. It was spacious and decorated and furnished in a very contemporary and relaxed style. We had a lovely garden apartment with a large terrace that got the morning sun leading to the pool and beautifully planted raised beds. We also had a small balcony from the bed room, that got the evening sun. The pool was lovely and clean, only a few of the apartments were occupied in June so it was very exclusive and quiet for the pool days with plenty of sun beds to chose from. The bathroom was huge and the shower was fantastic,with plenty of fresh towels. The bed very large and very comfortable. The location of the apartment was ideal with a super market and cash point just down the road. We found lots of restaurants close by and only a short walk to the sea and boats to the beach.

It was not possible to lock the patio door from the outside so we had to leave the apartment unsecured when we had pool days, taking all our valuables, passports, cash etc with us. There should have been a 'Safe' fitted in side the flat and a lock on the patio door. The road outside our bedroom was really quiet busy in the mornings, so we were woken early on most days, we were also woken by noisy neighbor's who rang our intercom buzzer, in error a few times in the small hours. We also had 2 days by the pool spoiled by building work taking place on a first floor apartment just above the pool. There was a large flat screen TV but we could only get 2 channels a Swedish Chanel and BBC World News, not that we wanted to watch much TV, for the price we paid we should have had a bit more than one TV Chanel. The apartment could have done with a bit more cutlery and crockery so we could have used the dishwasher, 2 cereal bowls and 3 mugs for e.g. was a bit annoying, and we didn't want to waste water by putting it on after every meal so ended up washing up. It was a shame that the lights did not come on in the evening all around the gardens and raised beds it would have looked great.

Sim. Não haver funcionários que falassem portugues simplesmente falavam ingles ou espanhol.

O apartamento com uma decoração bonita, bem localizado e muito funcional. Perto de supermercados e numa zona calma.

O apartamento atribuido não correspondia à descrição que me foi dada. Não tinha comodidade para o número de pessoas pedido. Um apartamento para seis pessoas que só dá para 4 adultos e uma criança. Só tinha 1 wc em vez de 2 conforme estava descrito. O atendimento da recepção embora fossem simpáticos deveriam saber falar e entender "Português", para um melhor serviço.

Los apartamentos están muy bien situados, bien equipados y con una decoración muy bonita. El personal que nos atendió fue muy amable y nos atendieron muy bien.

El colchón del sofá-cama era horrible, los muelles se te clavaban en el cuerpo al estilo "cama de faquir". Lo solucionamos poniendo bajo las sábanas dos mantas y una colcha.

La amplitud del apartamento.

Todo. La tele no funcionaba por falta de antena. El mantenimiento del complejo inexistente, la piscina tenia el agua turbia, las zonas comunes no se han limpiado nunca(escaleras, accesos) La puerta del parking no funciona. El ascensor no funcionaba. Es un complejo de apartamentos inacabados para la venta y al no venderlos los alquilan pero sin los servicios necesarios. Un desastre.

El apartamento es amplio y confortable. Las instalaciones de la urbanización (piscina) estan bien cuidadas y no muy masificadas. El apartamento está bien situado, esta cerca de la calle principal y el aparcamiento no es complicado.

Para hacer el check-in a nuestra llegada, primero nos dijeron que volvieramos en una hora ya que estaban terminando de limpiar el apartamento. Al volver nos hicieron esperar una hora más ya que el apartamento seguia sin estar preparado (la entrada se puede hacer a partir de las 15h y hasta las 17h no pudimos entrar) La conexión wifi es algo utopico ya que en ningún punto de la urbanización te puedes conectar a la red. No es un apartahotel por lo que no tienen servicio de habitaciones, bar, servicio de limpieza durante la estancia... Para ir a la playa de Cabanas de Tavira es necesario coger una barco que tarda 5 minutos en cruzar la ria y pagar un precio simbólico.

Condições da casa

La tranquilidad y la cercanía a la playa(está muy cerca de los barcos que te trasladan a la playa). Los apartamentos son nuevos y sus instalaciones son buenas.

En nuestro caso la cama de matrimonio tenía un colchón de muelles poco adecuado para el descanso del cuerpo; deberían cambiar este aspecto. Tienen que mejorar, también, la limpieza del apartamento. En una semana, solo lo limpian una vez; debería ser , al menos, dos veces en semana.

Apartamento bem equipado. Piscina razoavel embora os apartamentos nao estivessem esgotados. Distancia a praia bastante superior ao que esta definido no vosso site, convem esclarecer que a distancia a praia e muito superior a distancia a ria, inclusive tem de se apanhar barco, que para tem crianças pequenas podera ser mais complicado.

O serviço de limpeza bastante mau, e as camas desconfortaveis. O sofa- cama tinha colchao de molas/rede muito desconfortavel!!!

Piscina boa para crianças, boa decoração e central. Apartamento bem equipado.

Recepção fechada, apenas disponível por telefone, apesar de haver elevador não estava a funcionar... Acesso à piscina apenas pelo exterior do edificio. Péssimo sinal de televisão.

L'appartement était très bien tenu avec un très bon niveau de prestation. Permet de bien profiter de cette station balnéaire et de la région en étant au calme.

O apartamento e a sua disposição do espaço. A piscina e o seu enquadramento. O conceito self catering é interessante. O lugar de garagem, estacionar em Cabanas em Agosto é quase impossível. A localização em Cabanas permitia que não fosse necessário utilizar carro, o que é muito bom! A proximidade de Tavira. Com a excepção de alguns pormenores, apartamento muito bem apetrechado. No conjunto, proporcionam um óptimo destino de férias de praia com crianças. Obrigado!

Os vidros/portas das janelas/varanda/marquise não têm nenhuma marca/referência visual pelo que uma das crianças, ao querer sair, magoou- se chocando contra o vidro, pensando que estava aberto. No r/c, a inclinação da rampa da varanda para a piscina é acentuada e quando molhada torna-se muito escorregadia, uma criança caiu e magoou-se. Na casa de banho maior, a protecção na banheira é muito pequena e por isso, por muito cuidado que se tenha a tomar duche, o chão fica molhado. Falta chávenas de café. Torradeira avariada, não prende. Acontece, não há problema :) Desrespeito, por alguns utentes, das regras de utilização da piscina. Ausência de papel higiénico de reserva.
