the staffs are very nice. The free breakfast is good. The room is trendy and tidy and really clean and modern. Will definitly return if come to Lisbon again
Very good hotel, cost/benefit excelent.
Staff were welcoming, very informative, good location and rooms were clean.
Breakfast could be more versatile, a restaurant would be good in the hotel and more options for vegetarians.
The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The internet connection was especially good.
It's the second time I was staying there. For me it's good value for money, the hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are not big but stylish. Excellent breakfast for 3 star hotel. Good location, just in 10 minutes from most tourist attractions, restaurants and bars and in 2 minutes from sightseeing bus tours stop. There are more than 40 tv channels. I've stayed in many Portuguese hotels and never seen anything close to this number. Wi-fi is fast, no problems at all. You definitely won't regret choosing this hotel.
Staff very friendly and attentive. Room service very good. Breakfast great. Safe area, easy to everywhere. Metro, bus 100 yards away. Good atmosphere. Safe in room. Spacious. Nice bathroom.
Nothing, all good.
Comfortable bed, bathroom, wifi
Coffe and slow service on breakfast.
The location of the hotel is very good, in less than 5 minutes you are in Marques de Pombal, where there are metro and bus connections. It is also at walking distance of monuments and shopping streets. If you have a car it is easy to find a place to park in the street of the hotel, which is free after 19h. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and willing to help. They arranged a taxi and breakfast bags the day that we were leaving. The breakfast has enough variety and better than some 4 star hotels. There was fresh cake every morning. Cleanliness was excellent!
The breakfast was till 10:30h during the week, if you were there at 10h there was not so much variety for breakfast. The replenishment was a bit slow. Our suggestion is to have early breakfast so you have a bigger choice. The matress was very hard and uncomfortable for sleeping (for us), but after complaining in the reception they try to improve it adding an extra layer. Very helpful staff!
Location and Wifi
When we wanted to leave we asked the reception to order a taxi. They ordered a private car without any sign and taximeter. The price was double of the normal taxi we came with from the airport. We had no choice to reach the flight. Very disappointing.
Staff are fantastic, even gave us 2 mini bottles of Port and cakes on my birthday! VERY clean place, very handy for 2 metro stations, we found it very easy to get everywhere from here, breakfast was great too and there is loads to choose from.
Room was a tiny bit small but we weren't in that much anyway.
The location is ok. It is only 2 min walk from the aerobus stop. Downtown is about 20 mins away but the walk is quite enjoyable. The reception staff is very pleasant and make you feel welcomed throughout the whole stay. The room had mini fridge. Small supermarket is close by. Breakfast was great and had good selection (eggs, baked tomatoes, ham, cheese, variety of breads and cakes, fruit...).
The room was clean however the carpet was heavily stained. TV had poor reception.
- very good breakfast - good value for money - cleanless - close to a metro station
- room and double bed a bit small for 2 persons and their luggages - door of the shower not easy to open and close
location, staff, cleanliness and breakfast was very very good
very comfortable the staff extremely pleasant
Accomodations were great Concierge was good after our initial discussion - scheduled great private tour to Sintra for us and helped with the subway instructions (just forgot to tell us how to use the machine in Englis!) Neighborhood is in transition and most areas looked good, except the view out the rear window, just a little iffy Breakfast was well worth the stay. It was organized, hot and service was wonderful. Loved the green tiles and enjoyed the litaracy festival across the street where we were introduced to Ginja! Mmmmm Manager very helpful with pretrip phone calls. Found some great restaurants but never realized how close we were to the nicer ones. Enjoyed the ones we found though - very local which was great intro to Portugal before our tour.
Our greeting after we got into the lobbywas that we owed the pre-arranged taxi driver $45. Problem was we flew in on an apparently weird day where we had to stand in the passport check line from 7:20 AM to 11:40AM, so the driver left and we had to find our own taxi. We were unable to contact the hotel to cancel the driver and he had no idea what happened to us, so don't blame him for leaving, but since we had to pay another driver, we weren't about to pay the full shot. Luckily we found an hoest driver in the taxi que who charged us only $16, which left us wondering why the hotel one was going to cost $45 (we left $10 for the mystery driver with the hotel staff. We didn't much like the guy who slept in the hotel garden, along with all his belongings and small tent. He was plainly visible out the lounge window, and, although he didn't bother anyone, it just isn't what I want to see from a very nice hotel lobby - a bit unsettling. And there weren't a lot of homeless people visible the rest of our trip, with only one fellow pan-handling in Spain.
The hotel is located in the city centre. Only a few minutes work to the main street. The facilities of the hotel is pretty good, and the staff is kind and helpful. The breakfast is pretty good.
We ordered twin room, but we found that it was a double-bed room. And the staff says it is too late to re-arrange another room for us. So it was a little bit awkward to share the bed with my friend at the first night. And the second day the staff told us the room is ready, but we found that it is the same room and just put two small beds instead of one big bed. So it was a bit small for twin room. But for double bed room is perfect.
The hotel had a cool design. Very clean and fresh. Breakfast was OK.
Nice location, excellent front office, affordable prices in the minibar, fair breakfast and room service. I got a room for an early check-in even when the hotel was overbooked. The room has been cleaned properly, sometimes, overdone.
Rooms are on a small side, plus I experienced a noise from hoovering at 3 am (!!!) - as I was told, it was the regular once-a-three-weeks cleaning. Then I discovered few itchy bites on my back which I never seen/ felt before. Not quite sure that's a bug bite but made me feel uncomfortable. By overdone cleaning I mean that the cleaning lady grabbed in my sleeping set while changing the sheets (not on purpose, I assume).
Location is very fine, 3 minutes to Marquês de Pombal, metro stations, buses. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are all rather small but nicely decorated with modern and very good taste. Small bathroom but nice as well. Breakfast was better than expected and contrary to some reviews the breakfast room is rather big, the hotel was full and never had a problem to find a table. Really fantastic fresh fruits for breakfast (that made the difference to other hotel breakfasts). A very good ratio price/quality.
Of course it would be nice to have a bit bigger rooms but that's a bit difficult to change now...
Staff and service excellant. Great interior design.
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Nice and practical location. Very good staff. Good breakfast. You can use a computer and a printer to print your boarding passes by yourself. Modern rooms.
Unpractical bathrooms (flushing button too low). Minibar a little overpriced.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and stylish. Really close to the metro and 10 minutes walk from some amazing restaurants. The staff were really helpful, and even packed us a breakfast for our early checkout without being asked! Breakfast was decent and went until 10:30.
It's nice that the metro is very close, but there's nothing really close right nearby. The plaza where the metro stops is just full of banks. Still recommend it, for sure!
Bad WiFi connection.
