We liked absolutely everything about Dom Dinis, from location to food to service to staff. Incredible place; incredible experience.

Amazing hospitality at this family run hotel. Thank you Jorge! The view from their patio is breathtakingly beautiful! Cannot rate this hotel highly enough - it is absolutely wonderful! Don't miss out on the tomato soup - best soup we had in Portugal.

The amazing 360 degree view over the countryside into Spain and Portugal is breathtaking, especially from the old castle.

The drive up to the hotel is steep and narrow in spots.

We were at room 3 located very close to reception, so you can hear people talking. Nevertheless, there was complete silence during night.

We requested a view and boy did we get one! The weather was cold and rainy but it was so cozy inside and we had a delicious dinner at the restaurant across the way that the desk clerk took us too personally. It is a family owned establishment and the son of the owner, I think his name is Jorge, did everything he could to make us feel comfortable and welcome.

The staff is very friendly. Jorge, the owner, went really out of his way to make us feel welcome and at home. The location is excellent, a refurbished traditional house on the top of the hill near the castle, with fantastic views toward the west. We loved the place and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The location it´s a must! Fantastic experience! It´s a top place in the world and associated with all historical patrimonium around makes this place a magical experience!

The beautiful building, the wonderful friendly staff, the position of the Hotel.

The beds are rather too firm! The breakfast could be rather more interesting, perhaps with more fresh fruit and 'real' fresh juice.

A warm welcome from Jorge who seemed to be everywhere. The location was stunning. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was very warm and friendly. The room we stayed in was spectacular. We had a terrace with views of the farmland and villages below. The hotel is at the edge of the city walls so the view is unobstructed. The hotel itself is very beautiful. From the rock floors to the whitewashed walls of a hilltop village home this hotel gives you insight into the tradition and culture of rural Portugal.

Situated in the old walled town the hotel is walking distance to everything. The public car park is right next to the hotel so you don't have to drag your bags too far over cobbled streets. The staff were all exceptional and couldn't do enough to help out their guests.

The shower is very small to the point I don't know how large people would fit in it! The new town of Marvao (down the hill) also has a street in it with the same name as Dom Dinis street name. If your GPS doesn't send you up the hill toward the castle you are in the wrong town.

Clean, cozy and comfortable place. It is located near the castle. The view from the terrace is excellent. We stayed there during a festival and enjoyed watching bullfight. The owner is very kind and friendly. Access to Marvão is not so good and it takes relatively long time from Lisbon but it is worth to visit for us.

Hospitality, enthousiasm and drive of the manager/owner. Helpfull staff. Nice rooms with a Spectacular view. We stayed here for two nights during our 17 day visit to Portugal and we are glad we included Marvao and Dom Dinis in our tour.

The location of the hotel is just stunning! And the owner Jorge was very helpful and attentive, we hope to return one day
