Perfectly ironed sheets! Beatiful laundry done for us a low cost. Sufficient choice for breakfast. Spectacular view from the breakfast room. Practically no light either in bathroom or bedroom. No place to put our luggage except on cot stored in our room.

Terrific location inside the walls of the hilltop town of Marvao. Rooms offer basic and somewhat spartan facilities, but they are clean and beds are comfortable. The common sitting room has a fireplace (nice on the cool nights of March) and great views over the countryside.

It is situated close to the castle and parking is easy. Visit was impersonal in that the hosts were not available - all was done through the housekeeper, who was efficient.

We were well looked after and felt safe in a very clean home. The breakfast was very good. The location just can not be bettered within the walled town of Marvao. We spent so much time just sitting on the balcony overlooking the town and the surrounding countryside way below us.

The panoramic view from the house was impressive and we really liked the breakfast. The room was clean. We slept here just for one night and unfortunately there was a techo party nearby the hill and we couldn't fall asleep until 3 o' clock in the morning, but is was not the fault of the accomodation.

La atención de su dueña ha sido magnífica. La sensación es la estar en una casa de huéspedes donde te miman para que te relajes. La zona del pueblo en la que se encuentra es preciosa, aunque en Marvao todos los rincones merecen la pena. Fácil aparcamiento justo en la fachada lateral de la casa. La terraza tiene unas vistas increibles. El desayuno completo, la mermelada de manzana, limón y canela una delicia.

A Casa da Árvore está localizada mesmo junto às muralhas do Castelo. Em dias de Primavera nada melhor do que o pequeno-almoço na varanda a contemplar a vista maravilhosa! Ambiente muito calmo e tranquilo, tal como em toda a vila de Marvão. Excelente para recarregar energias positivas!

Ich reiste mit dem Öffentlichen Verkehr an (Abenteuer in Portugal), wurde bei meiner Ankunft im Dorf schon freundlich erwartet und man hat mich mit dem Auto zum Hotel gebracht! Die Mitarbeiter waren enorm hilfsbereit und freundlich, ich wurde damit geholfen meinen nächsten Transfer aus Marvao zu organisieren- Abklärungen wegem Bus, Taxi, Online kaufen des Busbillets. Die Aussicht ist phänomenal, es ist sehr ruhig, schön sauber, ausgiebiges Frühstück. Nur 5 Zimmer im wunderschönen Haus, was es zur Erholung macht. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis absolut TOP

Da localização, das instalações e da qualidade de serviço (simpatia). A localização junto do castelo, a paisagem soberba, repousante e a perder de vista, recomendam a Casa da árvore como local único para alguns dias de repouso, sobretudo para casais. Não registei nenhum aspeto negativo nesta estada na Casa da árvore.
