Refurbished mill works...enjoyed the view from our terrace. Wonderful restaurant...worked through a big part of the menu and didn't have even an average dish. All great.
The shower was tight...European standard. Tough to say much bad otherwise.
Excellent food - best we had in Portugal and that included some expensive restaurants and pousadas. wine very reasonable and we really enjoyed the bottle suggested to us. Popular with the locals for dinner.
Not the easiest place to find - would have been stuck without an I-phone
Rustic old water mill, beautifully restored The working mill-wheel Restaurant with river view Excellent food The garden with good size swimming pool The pedalo, free to potter up the river a short distance The bedroom with wooden-shuttered windows The manageress, very charming and helpful The location, just 3km from Leiria
Breakfast was adequate but not special Restaurant: beautiful food but at a price The children screaming and dive-bombing into the river from the street, just outside our window
Glad to have found this place. The setting and ambience is wonderful. Breakfast is very good
Excellent pool and restaurant. Very friendly staff.
Wifi signal a bit too weak in the rooms.
All staff, the boss, the shower, safe car, breakfast massive, exellent dinner and value. I can say that is the best place to relax and be safe in a beautiful place. Thanks I ll be back next time.
That I move in another hotel for the rest of the day :-(
The main restaurant for dinner was quite cosy and the food quite good quality and value.
The breakfast area was very uninviting; musty smell with obvious mould in places. The only item that looked fresh was the bread ( meat and cheese were left out unrefrigerated ). No help offered with luggage and there was no lift.
A real 'character' hotel. Meal was excellent as was the wine!
Staff was very helpful, a cosy, quite little Hotel.
Next to the hotel is a stream that due to the extreme weather they were having in Portugal was nearly overflowing, the drain covers on the road to Cortes had come out.
ambiance of the restaurant, cleanliness of the room and toilet
staff could have been friendlier
Setting and restaurant were superb
The shower was poor. Do not take a room next to the watermill as the sound keeps one awake at night
