This Hotel is truly a ‘Charming Hotel’! This is the third time I’ve stayed in the Pousada de Vila Real de Santo António and I’ve already booked my stay for later in June.
The location is ideal. The Staff absolutely wonderful!
We, and our little dog Margarita, always feel welcomed and at-home in beautiful hotel. Thank you to all for making our multiple stays , such a wonderful experience , every time.

We were looking for a tranquil location for the family to unwind. The check-in experience was friendly and accommodating. Everyone we came in contact with from the front desk, to the cleaning service were very personable and helpful. We originally booked for 2 nights but liked it so much that we extended our stay another 5 days! The villa was new, clean and well equipped. The location was quiet with beautiful views, fresh air and about 15 - 20 minutes drive from Lidl, Pingo Doce and other small town amenities. The 2 level villa with the fireplace came well equipped with all the amenities like washing machine, jacuzzi bath tub in the master bedroom, Nespresso machine and hot water kettle, and full kitchen amenities. The heating was good. It's the most comfortable villa that we've stayed at in Portugal and a good value. We don't play golf much but if you do, it's either out your front door or within walking distance depending on the location of your villa. We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely, spacious villa with own pool, great views and perfect weather. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. We ate several times in the Country Club and the food was very nice, although a weekly menu change would have made it even better. The only down side was that we would have preferred more than just one full clean with bed linen within our 12 day stay; although towels were changed three times. A small grocery shop on site would also have been useful.

As is the old town of Castro Marim, with it’s beautiful castle. The owners of the hotel are friendly and very helpful. My room was simple but comfortable, with a good bed and a bath. They serve a great breakfast, which you can enjoy in the kitchen, garden or take to your room. I really enjoyed the garden, with lots of trees, some cats and a little pool, perfect to cool off after a bicycle ride. Nice place, would recommend!MyrnaNetherlands

My husband and I discovered it by accident in May 2017 whilst looking for cheaper and less busy courses in the Algarve. We always enjoy the course even though it is a little challenging.
