A lovely hotel striking a good balance between traditional portguese and modern amenities. Rooms at the front of the hotel are currently very noisy as there is construction work at the Castle and traffic has to go through the village - I understand that a by-pass road is planned. The breakfast, although delicious, could be varied more as it could become tedious if staying for more than a few days. |

I liked the house and the staff I did not like the breakfast or the location or the fact that there was no real choice on where to eat in the day or evenings in the village. The casa could have been better by providing, for, example barbecue evenings or a buffet. Also the room did not have a good shower. A hand shower was not really acceptable. The beds were rock hard and very uncomfortable. |

A guest house in an architectually interesting traditional building. Very pleasant manager with good english able to tell us about the area and house. The room was small but nicely appointed with a lovely view over the village square. A good breakfast. |

Truly magnificent place to stay, far from the touristy Algarve, a step back in time. Joao and Ana perfect hosts. Very helpful supplying lots of local info and concerned about guests' requirements. Tranquil. Lovely breakfast on patio. |

Lovely house, friendly staff. Very helpful in recommending where to eat, arranging taxis. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we couldn't stay longer! |

Set in a quiet village it was like stepping back in time on passing through the Doors of Casa de Estoi. Fabulous hotel superbly clean All the staff made us feel welcome and spoke good English.Perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway. |

wonderful hotel full of nooks and crannies to explore.great service,nothing is too much trouble.Very helpful manager who is very welcoming and friendly.Had a great stay as it is a great location for airport,motorway and Faro.excellent base. Somewhat noisy rooms opposite village square. breakfast ok for short stay,but became boring after fourteen days |

La amabilidad de Joao y su disposición para hacer grata la estancia. El servicio también fue muy atento. La casa es una preciosidad y está impecablemente limpia. la ubicación, justo en una calle que es al mismo tiempo una carretera de bastante tránsito, con lo que esto conlleva de ruidos. |

Trés bon accueil, endroit calme, Petit déjeuner copieux, delicieux, agréable. L'endroit est tres bruyant, en cause la circulation des vehicules et la date correspondait a une concentration de motards sur Faro (30000 motards aux dires des organisateurs) |

Bijzonder om in een chique oud Portugees huis te verblijven. Het pleintje voor het huis en de kerk is gezellig, maar verder stelt Estoi niet veel voor. Weinig restaurants. Zwembadje ligt in hoog ommuurde binnenplaats. |
