I stayed in the enormously spacious Madragoa room, which was kitted out with huge flat screen TV, chaise lounge and comfy bed. Internet was available in my room, but some others said they did not have access to it in theirs. Breakfast was good, with lots of variety. Excellent value.

The locks on the doors are a bit difficult.

Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious, we even had an additional living room. We were a bit worried about the shared bathroom but we actually never had to wait for using it! The b&b is in a very good location.

Bathrooms are separate / shared bathrooms, which is fine but a bit less comfort. That's the only thing to note, but the place ABSOLUTELY makes up for it! And you therefore have a huge bathroom as well .-)

Prepare yourself to climb the Everest. :-) Good workout. Anyway, the whole city is like this. No way to avoid it.

Perfect value for money I did not expect at all. Very closely located to the old city.

We had the room Madragoa (sp?) and it was the large room on the second floor above the living room. It is beautifully decorated and extremely spacious. The bed was comfy. We take showers at night so we didn't have problems "sharing" bathrooms and there were 2 bathrooms in each floor and usually one is available. The location is walkable to the center. Breakfast is good if you get there early enough. The servers are not quick to replenish. The price we paid was excellent. Maria and Pedro were both very nice and helpful with restaurant recommendations. We also parked on nearby streets for free on Sat and Sun.

The outside of the building and surrounding area is heavily tagged but we didn't experience any trouble walking home late at night from the center. I do feel the size of the room made up for the noise for me. We did very much enjoyed our stay.

The metal key for rooms are not appropriate. It makes to much noise when we want to open and clés this one. the sound of the opening and closing of the doors of the rooms kept us from sleeping well.

Nice and clean bb recently refurbished. Friendly staff. Great breakfast in cafe next door.

I found my home in Lisbon :) This is definitely one of the best places in which I was staying! The friendly staff, the cleanliness, the design of the entire building, the location, everything was perfect. I can say that the little money you get a very luxurious accommodation, with an excellent breakfast in fabulous landscaped bar next to the hostel. The bar is very affordable with prices and a great kitchen. I think that here, every detail has a story in itself, and it will certainly make your stay special.

The only complaint is that the doors are noisy

Location is excellent with short walks to train station (both metro and mid-distance services). It within Barrio Alto. One of the city "lifts" just a short walk away. Rooms are beautifully decorated. Good breakfast with some variety of fruits and charcuterie.

Depending on the room location you may hear some street noise. Not a big issue but WiFi was not available in the rooms, may curtail ability to get more details about areas or restaurants, etc IF you depend on it.

The old building is so mystic.The breakfast was great.

Very large and tastefully decorated rooms with comfy beds. The breakfast was amazing and a perfect way to start the day off. The staff was friendly, even if it seemed a bit forced at times. Great location very close to Bairro Alto and a short walk to the bus, tram, and metro. Great value for the money if you can tolerate the shared bathrooms.

Had a bit of trouble finding the place. A very small sign is the only clue and none of the locals we asked knew where it was. The shared bathrooms were a nightmare! Although this was mostly due to the other guests not cleaning up after themselves, I would have thought that the staff would be checking. It shouldn't be the guests responsibility to clean up after other inconsiderate guests. The young man working the breakfast was not the friendliest person. The street noise was extremely loud on the weekend, and that was with the windows closed. Could be a problem in the summer as there's no air conditioning so you'll want the windows open.

Location felt a bit dodgy at night. Poor access to kitchen when bedromm on another floor, as ours was and no drink making facilities

I like everything. They have very friendly stuff, good location , tasty breakfast, low price. Ill definitely recommended this place.

Our stay was very pleasant here.The location is very near to Bairo Alto and the touristic tram 28 stops .It is at walking distance to the sea side and Casa de sodre station which connect to Belem and Cascais.The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is tasty.

Nothing negative about the hotel,but one concern was the shared bathroom.We had to wait long for our turn, but thats evident I feel when we come on busy times of the year.
