beautifully restored manor home in a lovely setting; floor to ceiling windows that open in room; room large and tastefully decorated, spacious private bathroom which was very clean and also refreshed often; nice continental breakfast; hostess(Cristina) has great maps and directions for self-guided walks and drives in the area; convenient that dinner and packed lunches can be arranged

We couldn't believe our luck when we booked pretty much at random and ended up in this completely lovely small hotel in the upper part of the Douro valley. This beautiful hotel has just six guest rooms and every comfort. Lovely decoration that is pretty and traditional (without being stuffy), wonderful views over vineyards and olive groves and a sparkly blue swimming pool in the lawn outside. Host Christina and her staff are attentive but not intrusive. Breakfast is a delicious array of bread, cheese, meat, jams and fresh fruit, tea, coffee and fresh juice -- all just perfect.

We actually made a game out of trying to find something we didn't like -- and the only thing we came up with was that the bedroom key needed to be wiggled to unlock the door!! We also thought that perhaps a key to the entrance gate, rather than a buzzer system, might have been easier. But really the only thing we didn't like was having to leave!

Simpático hotel de interior. É uma casa antiga reformada, muito interessante. A localização é boa, e a proprietária preparou excelentes roteiros para fazer de carro. O café da manhã é bom, apesar de ser meio desconfortável dividir a grande mesa com outros hóspedes.

O wi-fi é péssimo, instável é de baixíssima velocidade. Não há muito isolamento acústico nos quartos, portanto não vá em lua-de-mel.

Local perfeito para quem quer descansar e conhecer a beleza do Douro. O pequeno almoço com doces caseiros faz-nos sentir em casa.

Calma, ambiente familiar e de luxo. O nosso quarto dava para o monte do outro lado onde se via Sanfins do Douro. Simpatia da dona, Cristina Vanzeller, que nos recebeu muito bem e foi inexcedivel em atenção com os hóspedes.

A televisão apenas tem canais estrangeiros (penso que tem a RTPi).

Posto eccellente. Posizione ottima nella campagna, fascino di una vecchia casa padronale nella valle del Douro. Proprietaria gentilissima e d'aiuto. Piscina ottima.

Solo un po' cara la cena servita su prenotazione, visto il menù servito.

A elegância e o estilo da casa.uma casa com muita claridade,onde sabe bem estar. A nossa visita foi muito curta por motivos imprevistos,mas ficou a ideia de repetir.

Como casi siempre en este maravilloso país que espero que no cambie, la gente es encantadora, amable y acogedora. Se esfuerzan por hablar tu idioma y ayudarte en todo lo posible y en que disfrutes de tu viaje. La casa tiene encanto y sabor . Es un buen lugar para los amantes del vino , la buena mesa, los bellos paisajes y la tranquilidad.
