In Praça das Amoreiras, in Lisbon, Casa Amora is a typical building of Lisbon’s early 20th-century petite bourgeoisie. It features a small outdoor patio, and free Wi-Fi.

The room was kinda small with the short roof.
The staff was really nice and the breakfast was amazing.
Some of the rooms are presumably much nicer than others; ours (Belém) was spartanly furnished and a large proportion of the room was under a very low sloping ceiling.
Friendly and helpful staff, wholesome and varied breakfast, very comfortable bed.
Helpful staff to introduce guests to the city. Good breakfast. Have dinner at Mercado Ribeira.
Tricky to find if you don't print out the map - but that was our mistake- not theirs!
Everything was great. The guesthouse is light, fresh, and peaceful and yet very centrally located. Service and facilities were excellent. A very good choice!
There is nothing to fault.
We chose to stay here following a business trip last November when we were booked into a sister hotel. We loved it - and the city - so much that we made a date to return as soon as we could. This time we were upgraded to a huge room with a fantastic view which really enhanced a wonderful trip. We will return!
Staff brilliant. Breakfast was great and quiet location. Trams are convenient if don't want to climb the many hills but all part of it.
Location, design, breakfast!
Location was difficult for those with walking difficulties/the elderly
Couldn't ask for friendlier or more helpful staff
All staff was very friendly and service-oriented. João was very helpful in particular - without his courteous hospitality and valuable recommendations our trip to Lisbon would not be complete. Thank you so much once again, João!
Welcoming was professional and very helpful. Location is very good, near barrio alto and the historical center. All the suggestions given to us were reliable.
EXCELLENT staff, quiet room, homemade breakfast, their unique city map
The friendly and professionally helpful staff
Weak wifi in the room we were in
Location, clean and well maintained, friendly staff
Location is great, rooms are designed in a great and original way, breakfast was very delicious and personal was extremely helpful and friendly. I left more as a friend than a visitor ;-)
Restricted city parking nearby even at weekends. But fine if you use taxis.
Staff helpfulness, hotel style, restaurant
Very steep walk and the mattress could be better. But that's minor
Cute place 10 mins walk from Barrio Alto close to everything, if you want a taste of real lisbon this could be a great spot Loved the staff very helpful and informative
Fee for late check in. Failure to meet flight by their pick up service
Location. Helpful staff.
That I stayed only one night
Great place, location, value for money
The recommended restaurant at the sister hotel The service was slow and the meat entries were cold.
The location makes exploring Lisbon so tempting. You realize there are so many museums, little shops, lookout points and cafes that most people miss. it is so easy to get stuck in Chiado or Belem, this made it easy to see a whole different way of living.
usualy it supposed to be above our budget. (we got there off season).
very freindly and helpfull stuff, nice decoration, location is about 15 minutes walk from Bairro alto, towels-heater in the bathroom (!!). we left before breakfast so Joao left us a morning snack in the fridge! coffe and tea available in the reception and we also got a piece of home-made cake.
Hotel is in a residential part where 'non-res' cars are not permitted. If you arrive by car go straight to the "Parque de Estacionamento da Calçada do Combro" garage, €13 p/d and 5 - 10 min walking to the hotel.
Most parts of the city are in walking distance. Welcoming staff, giving us a complete briefing of Lisbon upon arrival.
Staff are friendly, helpful & very knowledgeable. Speak many languages. Rooms are very nice & roomy overall with excellent beds. Includes an excellent breakfast as well Location is a short walk to waterfront and all transit lines etc. Area around B&B looks suspect but is typical of lot's of Lisbon & is undergoing ongoing renovations as well. Would definitely stay with any of the Shiadu properties. They have several more nearby & in Porto.
Area looked a bit run-down, lots of buildings were being re-developed. This was not helped by the grafitti sprayed on many buildings
The location is fairly central and close to good bars and restaurants plus good rail/metro links to rest of city. The rooms were very comfortable and decent sized beds. I would certainly visit again.
The location is a bit tricky to find. And upon checkout we had to leave super early to catch a flight so they told us that they would prepare something and leave for us in the fridge, which we thought was a nice touch and then they forgot. Also they had called and arranged for a cab to pick us up however gave no name and on the receipt it didn't list which location, so the driver was waiting at their other property up the road. When we wandered up and spoke to him he was very upset at having to wait and angry at the confusion of which location. With overall a great stay it was to bad to leave this way.
Very close to many sights, and an easy walk to the water front.
