The house was traditional, elegant ,beautiful and very luxuriously comfortable The owners are very concerned that every possible need is met Kindly helping with guidance as to the best things to do even driving you there if possible Breakfast is generous and of the highest standard The gardens are lovely Position is excellent less than 10 mins walking distance to everywhere in the centre It is such an important centre of Portuguese history Beautiful town with Palace and Castle traditional pasties are a feature and the wines are wonderful The best tourist information centre encountered in 11 places visited in Portugal Marble centre so it is reflected in the buildings from large to smallest

The whole staff is realy helpful and realy treats you like royalty. The whole stay was very quiet and peaceful and we could realy relax and forget about work. The pension has a mix between old but restored look, with all the modern equipment. Everything is in pristine clean state and we can't spot a thing out of place or "old and used". The air conditioning on the room was a little on the noisy side, not much but a little. The rooms don't have balcony, only a window.

Very very amazing hotel and region. Owner of the hotel is the best which i know. Просто замечательный отель. Владелица как любимая бабушка. Ребенок (10 лет) и мы в восторге. Махонький недостаток - отсутствие кондиционера , Но это незаметно. мы были в июле. На улице жара а в доме прохладно.

Beautifull ancient house. Very romantic. In the city center, near the palace and castle. Very friendly and helpfull owner. Extremely abondend breakfast. To be recommended.

Mooi gebouw. Stijlvol ingericht. Professionele ontvangst. Waren enige verblijfstoeristen in colegio dat oud gebouw is dat niet verwarmd was en kil aanvoelde.

Ambiente acolhedor, tranquilo, afetivo. Salas amplas correspondendo ao bem estar e conforto, decoradas em fino estilo. Casas de banho fantásticas nas suas mármores pouco vulgares. Ótimo pequeno almoço. Fica-se com desejo de voltar!

Sehr persönliche Atmosphäre (in dem kleinen ehemaligen Adelspalast wohnt die Eigentümerfamilie selbst, es gibt nur 6 Fremdenzimmer, eine hochinteressante Geschichte) , sehr freundliche Betreung durch Mitglieder der Eigentümerfamilie, sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung, die Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe des Palasts der Herzüge von Braganca. Portugal at its best!
