As the temperature in March is not yet so high, we had to use the air condition to warm the house. There is also central heating but it was not on and we didn't ask further about it, since got instructions to use the AC, if needed. A positive surprise was the fireplace which we could also use! The house we stayed is located 1-2 min by car from the main building, so we had to use the car when going for breakfast but this was not a problem since we timed our breakfast so that we could continue with our explorations of the region right after it. We had initially booked a double room in the main building for which in the reservation information wi-fi was included. Due to the upgrade to the house that we eventually stayed, and its remoteness from the main building, we had no internet connection in our accommodation. Despite this inconvenience, the lack of wi-fi was not a major issue, since we could do our searches and checks while spending some time in the main building (common living rooms).
Lovely location in the countryside only 5km from Évora. We booked a double room for three nights but were upgraded to a fully equipped house with a fireplace and a patio situated among olive trees, ideal for peaceful time in the nature. The property (main and separate building) is tastefully restored with respect for its history and at the same time for the guests of the present times. All spaces are in top condition. The breakfast, included in the price and served in a beautiful dining room with view to the olive grove, was rich and suitable to all tastes (salty, sweet, fresh fruits, local and/or handmade products). In the main building there were two spacious common living rooms and a patio with comfortable sofas and chairs to spend time also outside our own house, to check the available info about activities during our stay, and to browse through books on local delicacies.
