Interesting old style hotel near the center of the town opposite a park. Bedroom had nice view over the park and antique furniture. Clean rooms. Seen better days. Lumpy beds, cramped room and bathroom. Every time I turned in the bed the creaking woke me up. I could also hear the neighbour's bed creaking through the walls. |

Good location in the town and nice public park in front with good childrens play area.Friendly staff who recommended a good restaurant in town. Would recommend based on budget price and location but not for a baby until they get safe cot. Did not tell us in advance that the hotel restaurant was closed on the day we stayed (Every Tuesday). Child cot very old and not up to modern standards. Breakfast very basic - lots of cake and no cereal (...Kids loved it!!) |

The hotel is conveniently located in town, overlooking the park. The rooms and bathrooms are a reasonable size, with lovely big windows and were very clean. The beds were very creaky which disturbed us throughout the night. Everytime you moved, they creaked loudly. The staff were not very friendly either. There are a few other budget accommodation options in Castelo de Vide which I would try first before staying here again. |

Three of us - pensioners - used Casa do Parque as a base for our six day holiday. We went to the area to walk the hills, to explore the cork forests and to study the ornithology. The hotel was ideal. The owners/staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms very clean and well furnished. |

Had dinner once in your restaurante and the girl was very helpefull and paid care and attention to me as well as the gentleman, but at breakfast time ,me and other dutch ladies felt that cereals were missing on the buffet, but still enjoyed. The bathroom was small, almost coudnt fit inside for a shower. There was not restaurante, city or religion information inside the room.had the all information in tourist office. Will come back to the beautiful area but double check with the hotel. I work in hotel busines and this is not a complain |

young man at reception was very friendly, location good for visiting small villages around and about. Castle gave an authentic feel. I hate small showers when the shower curtain wraps round you.in mid shower. This was the case here. The room was smallish but the price was excellent |

Hotel Sol e Serra with 82 rooms is in privileged location by being in the centre of a beautiful and ancient town, that is Castelo de Vide, and very close to Spain. |
Spectacularly located 862m high in Marvão, the highest village of Portugal, the restored hotel Albergaria el Rei Dom Manuel mixes cosy local charm and modern facilities. |
Offering superb panoramic views over the São Mamede mountain range, this hotel is excellently located in the historical village of Castelo de Vide. |
This stylish house is located in the peaceful rural parish of Urra, allowing you to escape the stresses of city life in a cosy atmosphere. |
