liked the friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Excellent food served in on site restaurant at very reasonable prices.

Room was cold when we arrived, but managed to get heating working and all was well.No lounge facilities offered.

It's a really nice family hotel, love the design, very comfty with nice breakfast!

Suddenly, out of the blue, this little gem of a hotel appeared. Good value for money. The room was comfortable. The evening dinner was wonderful. Beautifully home cooked meal. Breakfast was a cold buffet with hot coffee and hot milk. Unfortunately, no one speaks English, but they do speak French, and so dragging out our high school French from our memory, we were able to communicate. This hotel does not take credit credit cards despit on this site it says they take Visa. Incredibly cheap but good value too.

A hospitalidade dos funcionários e a tranquilidade do local. A decoração é de muito bom gosto. A comida do restaurante é muito boa e com preços acessíveis. O pequeno-almoço é dos melhores que já encontrámos. A relação qualidade-preço é excelente.

Location is good if you are planning to go around Castro Verde-Mertola plains. Hotel/motel was very quiet, cause we were the only customers. Breakfast was quite basic.

Dinner was not super but did the job. Mertola (nice and small city) is close so you might want to go there to eat in the evenings.

The evening meal was tasty.

This tiny hotel was in a tiny village and we didn't seem to be expected even though we had booked, so our welcome was not particularly welcoming. It seemed in a remote location, away from the larger, more interesting town of Mertola and for us there was little of attraction.

Het hotel was zeer smaakvol in Portugese stijl ingericht. Het ontbijt was prma. Kamer schoon en prima bedden. Als uitvalsbasis om de prachtige omgeving van Metola te zien prima in orde.

Het lag 10 km. bij Mertola vandaan en verder was er bij het hotel zelf niet veel te beleven. Er was geen mogelijkheid om buiten te zitten. Ook in de kamer niet echt een zitje. Als je de hele dag weg bent en er alleen wilt slapen is dat niet erg.

De kamer was leuk ingericht, groot. De douche lekker hard, moest wel lang wachten tot het warm was maar dan was het ook echt warm. Bedden waren goed.

Van dit hotel had ik hoge verwachtingen nadat ik de beoordelingen had gelezen. En dat had vooral betrekking op het restaurant. Wij bleven maar wachten tot het restaurant open zou gaan tot dat wij het na 21.00 uur gierend van de honger het maar eens gingen vragen. Eerlijk is eerlijk de deur werd geopend en wij konden bestellen. Het zelfde gebeurde ook de 2e dag. En voor het ontbijt precies het zelfde. De avond daarvoor wordt je gevraagd hoe laat je wil ontbijten en dan is de deur weer op slot. Moet je op zoek gaan naar een medewerker. Ik vind dit niet erg gastvrij. Hotel ligt vlak aan een drukke doorgaande weg waar auto's met 80 km. voorbij komen. Daar heb je in je kamer geen last van maar als je op het terras zit schrik je iedere keer.
