rooms are very basic, the kitchen room (where the guest fridge is located) get closet at 9p.m. so you can not get your drinks/food from the fridge.

Excellent location, spacious modern and pristine room,well run guest house by mother and daughter who were extremely friendly and helpful. Pretty courtyard and wonderful views from the terrace. Lots of bars and restaurants locally.

Rooms on the basement are directly to the street, not possible to keep them really open, good for one day stop.Think the first floor rooms are ok for longer.

This lovely little place is brilliant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a nice roof terrace with views over the fishing boats and a shared living room with some basic drinks facilities. One of the few places we stayed in the Algarve/Spain that gave us a real double bed.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and nicely presented with different choices daily, including fresh fruit, freshly pressed orange juice, fresh bread, cheeses and meats. The first floor patio and guest lounge were ideally situated for enjoying the view directly over the Ria Formosa. There was very little traffic or boat traffic in winter, so it was a very quiet and relaxing location. In summer there would be a lot more tourists and more to do. The owner was very helpful, although her English was as limited as our Portuguese, so we communicated via Spanish, French and thanks to Google's translator. There are super seafood restaurants very close by, as well as a bowling green and golf course or two. There are nice walks nearby and easy bus links to neighbouring villages / Faro.

The satellite tv choice was very limited. Our visit was in December in cold weather, and we found the room a little cool afer the heating was switched off, although we would undoubtedly have been given a heater had we asked.

We liked everything about this guest house. Lovely people, perfect location, safe private parking, bottled water in the room, lovely terrace, very nice breakfast, just a great place to stay, would recommend to anyone.

The perfect location in the main street of Cabanas, in front of the beach. The fresh and delicious products in the breakfast.

The bathroom as no tub. In my room the wi fi did not work and the cable tv sometimes did not work either.

We had a fantastic stay. Our room was really comfortable, clean, spacious and the air con was really a plus. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of cakes and fruits, that can be enjoyed on the terrace facing the ria. The staff was lovely and very friendly, making us feel welcome. I definately recommend this place.

Casa Viana is fabulous. Attentive hosts, very clean rooms, shaded courtyard and sunny terrace, excellent breakfast and all this right on the waterfront. Will definitely go back again.

La situation géographique face à l'île de Tavira, l'accueil, le petit déjeuner, la chambre très propre et spacieuse.

Localização, simpatia, higiene, simplicidade

Da hospitalidade, do excelente pequeno-almoço recheado de bons produtos (queijos, presuntos, paio, pão e bolos, doces, sumos naturais feitos na hora). O quarto era muito espaçoso. A localização é perfeita e a vista do terraço magnifica sobre a Ria. A Casa Viana é uma guest house muito acolhedora.

Sehr,sehr freundliche Besitzer, man fühlt sich sofort wie Zuhause. Einfach, aber schön eingerichtet, super sauber. Das Haus hat den traditionellen südländischen Innenhof, was es besonders charmant macht. Frühstück ist toll: frisch gepresstem O-Saft und jeden Tag andere Auswahl an Früchten, Käse und Wurstspezialitäten aus dem Region. Perfekte Lage zum Strand, direkt auf der Promenade. Kostenloser Parkplatz. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - unschlagbar - vor allem wenn man bis Mitte Juni und ab September verreist. Unbedingt im Restaurant Jeronimo & Noelia, das auf der Promenade ist, speisen - einfach sensationell!

Foi a 2ª vez que estivemos na Casa Viana e pude confirmar a excelente estadia que tivémos.Simpatia,simplicidade,qualidade nos mais diversos aspectos,desde a higiene das instalações até à óptima qualidade dos pequenos almoços,a óptima situação "física" da Casa à beira da "formosa" Ria Formosa...que mais?Só O lamento de não poder "lá estar" mais tempo...Obrigado!!!

De locatie was super! Met een bootje overvaren naar tegenover liggende eiland voor het strand, zo leuk! Het ontbijt is goed. Prijs kwaliteit niets op aan te merken.

In mei is het 's avonds erg stil.

La chambre au rez de chaussée donne directement sur la rue, Impossible d'ouvrir la fenètre sans être directement au vue des passants et des voitures.

Tout était parfait. Jusqu'au petit déjeuner typiquement portugais. Chambres spacieuses et très propres. Gentillesse du personnel. Cadre agréable et calme avec un patio très clair. A deux pas des restaurants et boutiques sans en avoir les inconvénients. Le lagon est à10m.

Juste à savoir que la sonnette en cas d'absence, est reliée à une numérotation automatique de téléphone et qu'il faut appuyer qu'une fois.(il faut dire que nous sommes arrivés tard).
