Nothing. This is the worst place we have stayed in. It could be nice but it definitely was not.

Although we had booked a superior room, nothing was ready when we arrived and the management was chaotic. We were told the owner was finding us the best room. It was dark, and smelled of damp and mould. We should have left immediately but thought it would be ok if we opened the window. It wasn't. The smell pervaded everything and got worse through the night. We could not (and did not want to) unpack. We left as soon as we could. We told the owner it was not fit to rent out. Do not go there - and certainly this room should be taken off the market. A horrible experience and impossible to recommend this place.

Carlos (the owner) is a very friendly and helpful landlord. Great location within the old city walls, quiet and easy to access. Great location for discovering the region, go to Spain or the Tavira in the Algarve for a day. Good restaurants around. Feels like "home away from home".

Friendly host, Mertola is a great town to explore and the Casa is well situated.

Fantastic, impeccable, magic! I simply loved it: my room was clean, cosy and with very homey design. The house, which for three days i stayed there felt like HOME, is beautiful, with a fresh patio inside for relaxing moments, a library and living room for quiet conversations. The kitchen is open at any hour and you can serve yourself a breakfast or 5o'clock tea from a selection of fresh fruit, juices, alentejano bread and wonderful local cheeese! And the cherry on top of it all is the owner Carlos, who is such a generous and kind spirit! My only regret is that there are very few places like this!

A very nice rural house in old Mertola. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The room was big, nice and worm. Breakfast (basic) is self served at the house's kitchen / lovely garden. The place doesn't have baby cobs, but the extra bed can be folded to be a cob (we traveled with a 4 months old baby and it was great). Notice that the gps directions take you through the old city and via very narrow allays. There is a much easier way to get there - please call the owner for directions.

this is a great little find, room was confortableits basically a house with a few rooms. he lets you in then goes off and leavesyou. access to kitchen is 24hours breakfast is make it yourself with acces to fridge toaster coffee filter, kettle. cold meats fig, cherries,breads coffee juice jams etc. yu can also use kitchen to make coffee etc anytime and he did say to use breads etc when it suited. the guy did appear when we were breakfasting but only breifly then went up presumably to work and left us, asking us to leave the money for the room in the room along with the key! access is a little tricky up a fe wstarngle little streets. village well worth a look around. you do need a phrase book tho littl eenglish spoken.

Sehr freundlicher und relaxter Vermieter, der auch noch gute Tipps für die weitere Reise gegeben hat. Die Zimmer und das gesamte Haus sind liebevoll eingerichtet. WLAN, Küche, schöner Innenhof und Wohnzimmer standen den Gästen zu deren freien Verfügung.

Difícil acesso, não tem restaurante, mercado ou café por perto.

Lokalizacja - na uboczu, cicho, wśród małych domków przy wąskich starych uliczkach, a jednocześnie blisko miasta. Właściciel - przyjacielski I zapewniający pełną swobodę I dostęp do kuchni oraz salonu wypoczynkowego.

Trudno znaleźć dojazd samochodem, ale właściciel służy wszelką pomocą.

heel mooi huis op een mooie locatie. gebruik van keuken, huiskamer. beetje huiselijk daardoor.

ga er niet in de winter heen. er is geen verwarming. wij hadden het s'avonds koud.

Vriendelijk ontvangst, ruime kamers, een echt "portugese "woning, warm in de zomer, maar koud in de winter (problemen met electricitiet)

Problemen met electriciteit (wordt aan gewerkt), een beetje rommelig, kleine reniovaties zijn nodig, ontbijtservice is doe alles zijn, geen buffetvorm

Единственный отель, расположенный внутри крепостных стен города. Цена, конечно, смешная. По сути, как в гости приехали, так как это жилой дом, в котором несколько комнат сдаются. Несмотря на некоторую пошарпанность очень уютная комната.

Завтраки как класс отсутствуют. Хозяин просто радушно предлагает воспользоваться всем, что есть на кухне и в холодильнике. Приехали к гостинице - заперто и никого. Пришлось звонить по указанному на двери номеру и вызывать хозяина, который спутал нашу дату приезда. Хорошо, что Мертола по сути дела деревенька и ждали от силы 5 минут.

La casa y su ubicación: perfecta para visitar Mértola así como sus alrededores. Precisión: el desayuno es "self service" en la cocina de la casa!

Gostamos muito do espaço muito familiar, o charme da casa e o acolhimento com que fomos recebidos.

Le cadre de cette vielle demeure est très harmonieusement décoré. Le petit déjeuner dans la cuisine faisait davantage penser à une chambre d'hôte chez l'habitant. D'ailleurs le maître de maison nous met parfaitement à l'aise et parle très bien le français. très bien et à conseiller durant les vacances de la Tousaint. Pendant la période estivale ?

Propriétaire sympathique

pas de parking, pas d'accueil à l'arrivée, chambre humide, télé hors fonction et pas de wifi, petit déjeuner a préparer soi-même.

É uma casa com ambiente familiar, que todos gostamos. Uma decoração muito rustica, pura alentejana.

O facto de não termos televisão num dos quartos, mas podémos ver na sala que nos foi colocada ao nosso dispor. Também neste mesmo quarto, não tem um roupeiro adquado.
